Guest NDFANINTEXAS
Sorry if this has been posted but i didnt see it. RB Ryan Williams - 5-10/192/4.5 Manassas, VA CB Xavier Brewer - 5-11/180/4.4 Jacksonville, FL I vaguely remember Williams name on the offer list under the athletes category about a month ago and then it dissapeared all of a sudden. Guest NDEagles379
Ryan Williams has had an offer for awhile. He was the first RB we offered, back in the fall sometime. I think we have a decent shot at him. I'd say Cyrus Gray, Ryan Williams, and Carlton Thomas are our best bets at a RB. We only want one, although I think we'd take two if two wanted to come. Rockne3d
Yes, Ryan Williams has had an offer for quite some time. Probably our #1 RB.
irishdread
Joseph Fauria has also been offered this week. he says that he's been waiting on this offer, and he told Weis before the offer that it would blot ND into the top 3 !!! We have to have the inside edge on this kid figuring CW coached his uncle Christian, with the Patriots.
Guest DCIrish
Add Joseph Fauria to the list. 6'7" TE from California. Some of you might remember his Uncle who played TE for Colorado back in the 90s. If I remember, he played against us. The best part is the Uncle played for Weis at New England. I'm sure that will help a great deal. I think he is presently on the Redskin roster. I read about this kid a few weeks ago. He's very high on Stanford right now as they put the full court press on him during their recent Junior Day. He told Weis that ND is immediately in his top 3 now that the Irish have offered. As an aside, he also recently visiting USC. It would seem from his exit interview that he was not blown away with it. It sounded like the USC coaches did not pay very much attention to him. If this kids inks with ND, we'll need to increase the size of the locker room doors just for the TEs. Could you imagine two 6'7" TEs going down the middle of the field (Rudolph). Wow. irishdread
Also according to Scout and A.C. Flora HS head coach, ND will be offering 6'3" 285lb OL/DL Kenneth Page. http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=109&p=9&c=2&cid=634309&nid=2821445&fhn=

Guest seniorle
The look Page has on his face on the Scout link seems like he's ready to tear someone's head off. I say sign him up

Guest heismancaliber
Can you say Tight End U? Can you say Miami Weis has recruited a sick collection of TE's but if we're counting from the moment Weis has gotten here its 1-0 right now in the favor of Miami since Olsen is gonna get taken higher than Fasano was. Carlson will tie it up however

No because Olsen was still in school, and he's been their main TE for the last 2 years
Guest seniorle
I still think it's a little different if u want to get picky here. Fasano was coached by Weis for 1 year and becamse a second round pick (in the 40s i think) and Olsen has been under the same coach his entire tenure. Plus he was ALWAYS the more talented prospect (one of the top recruits in his class if I'm not mistaken), a definite 5 star guy and he'll prolly get drafted in the mid 20s somewhere so taking all that into account, I'd say Weis is really turning things around and making ND TE U. Carlson will be next (I'd say a first rounder next year) and then Reuland and Yeatman after him.

We are talking elite TE's, not just roster fillers.
tchris555
plus olsen would have been ND's TE had his brother not chickened out when Brady came in and immediately surpassed him on the depth chart. I said it the day he transfered to UVA that he would never be a starter there either. I think people will be pleasantly surprised how well ragone's athleticism compares with guys like Olsen, Mercedes Lewis, etc.
GoIrish24
Ragone runs a 4.5 I think and I've heard that he was a kick returner in high school.
tchris555
Ragone runs a 4.5 I think and I've heard that he was a kick returner in high school. yeah and he was a finalist for state heavyweight wrestling champion too, so he's not some WR in TE's clothing, afraid of contact. If he had enrolled early i'd be looking for him to compete for a spot this year. We might have to wait a season for him though.
irish21
He had a knee injury that cost him his Senior season so he might not be fully healthy yet.
Guest Pete
He had a knee injury that cost him his Senior season so he might not be fully healthy yet. He should be fine now, his knee injury was in the winter of his jr year. I remember reading that he was also medically cleared to play but his coach and doctor both told him to sit out because his future was/is more important than his senior year in high school.
