I hope this young man commits. He has the makings of not only a future All American, but someone who will inspire others of his stature to follow. We can only hope? Only draw back appears his waiting for the PSU offer? Either way, I like him...

This kid is Irish. Done deal. Obviously based on the way his bro. played, I'd say he's got major potential. Give him a year to bulk up under Mendoza and he could be a beast.

 

So is he an ILB or OLB? I'm assuming he meant weakside ILB.

The thing I like is that we are getting a lot of positive feedback from all of our defensive recruits. Honestly, that's all you can ask for, the chips will fall where they may. But right now we are in a great position with a lot of defensive recruits.

IMO, the offer isn't going to come. PSU has offered 5 LB's (Hale, Zordich, Wilson, Sweat and Major), so he probably isn't too high on their board. All the kids that offers have better measureables/size than Posluszny does. The kid was 2nd Team All-State his sophomore year as a Strong Safety, so I'm not sure how much experience he has at LB, thus another reason as to why he hasn't been offered.

 

Their 2 best shots, IMO are Hale (His coach played at PSU) and Zordich (PSU legacy). They don't have many schollies to give out this year, so they have to be selective with who/how many they take at certain positions. Trust me, PSU isn't aching for LB's the way we are. I see them takin no less than 2 and no more than 3.

I think we will get Zordich and Sweat sometime soon, hopefully.

Why the feeling GoIrish24? I have gotten good vibes on Sweat but have heard very little about Zordich that makes me confident.

i just dont feel to confident about Sweat, guys. I wouldnt get my hopes up if he goes to OSU.

I get that feeling to Gallup, Buckeyes feel real confident in sweat, and I thought he said the Ohio State visit was better than ours.

how good is David Posluszny? is he that good of a LB or is he a hot prospect because of who his brother is? personally id rather have mike zordich, he's one of my favorite LB prospects this year.

good question russ. i have the same concerns as you. i believe shark may be able to shed more light on the subject. i do remember that paul was not that highly recruited out of hs and he blossomed at psu....

Is Hale a PSU lean???

Does anyone know where I could find some film on Poz? I too have been wondering how good he is and want to make the determination myself.

Zorich won't be Irish anytime soon without first getting an Irish offer. However, with an offer, I think we could give PSU a run for their money on him....legacy or not.

 

I'm with Russ on Zordich. He's one of my favorite recruits and I hope he gets an offer. His video was impressive. He hits like a truck.
