Guest bhatta
His name is Thomas Bemenderfer. He's got to sit out a year and he's huge - 6'5, 280.

dangeruss
this guy doesn't sound like he'll make an impact at all at ND.

Guest NDLawJAG
He was a starting OT at NW... He may not be a starter but he will provide depth. I think he wins a scholarship coming out of Spring practice. He will be eligible to play in the fall because he transfered in before last fall. irishziggy
either way he gives us a guy with college experience at OL and i believe he still has 3 years of eligibility which he could serve as a solid backup if certain recruits pan out. Right now we have Sullivan and Young, the rest is competition. Add 1 more guy to the competition and it'll make our current guys work that much harder. Batch
he wasn't on the NW roster last year. i think he comes in this fall. anybody sure? He redshirted as a Freshman in 2005. WAS on the NW 2 deep last year. So he was a backup his first year of playing. With that info he comes in 2008. this guy doesn't sound like he'll make an impact at all at ND. Maybe... but then again there have been players known as late bloomers. And in 2008 he will still have 2 years eligibility left to play with one full year under CW and CB and that could also make a difference. I will take depth on the OL/DL anytime I can get it. -Batch

dangeruss
it's good to get more depth but with the type of talent CW is bringing in on the OL each year this guy will keep falling down the depth chart IMO.
