stud CB T.J. Bryant has a ND offer and list ND as one of his favorites. i know that this guy is a real talented CB and getting out of Lincoln High School in Tallahassee, FL is probbly close to impossible (never been done before). does anyone have any more on this guy?

Ya getting him would definitely be an upset. The recruiting world would be flipped upside down if we somehow managed to get either Bryant or Forston away from those FL schools. Unlikely, but we've had some success w/ Florida kids in the past, and both those guys could come in and see minutes early.

Forston is a Miami lock.

On the other hand, there is a good chance that Bryant leaves Tallahassee. His HS is a feeder to FSU, but UF is his favorite right now. He will visit ND and USC also though, so we'll see.

Correct. His high school coach played at 'Tha U' with Randy Shannon.

Highly doubtful.

FSU is not in the lead for TJ Bryant... his 5 visits will probably be (UF, Miami, FSU, ND, and USC) but per his HS coach, UF leads. Lincoln HS aint the FSU pipeline that it used to be...

He'll be the #1 CB recruit next year. His coaches think he's better than all the other CB's that have come out from Lincoln (Antonio Cromartie included).

Florida was in the lead for his teammate and best friend, Brandon Paul, at this time last year and you saw how that worked out. Granted, Paul isn't a national recruit like Bryant, but he did have offers from the big 3 in Florida.

As for Cromartie, that is another thing that FSU has going for them. Can tell T.J.,"Look at me, I went to FSU and I was a first round draft pick".

He'll play the game, take his visits, and in the end, he'll be a 'Nole.

IT is a huge feeder to FSU but another sub par year and he might look elsewhere, but however if FSU has a good turnaround year I think the uF lean goes away and he stays home. IF they don't he will be wide open

i just hope he got the "no gun policy" memo

  Oh I knew his school was a U feeder, but having that connection to Shannon should def. make him a Hurricane. And if not then Shannon probably doesn't deserve a whistle...

having played in the So. Fla area at NMB HS back when shannon was at Northwestern, I know if a kid is any good, they normally don't leave the area. aRmando allen was a different case.

shannon will get all the NWern kids as long as the U wins.

Lincoln and Leon of Tallahassee have always fed FSU and UF, things are changing up north. kids are leaving, but its very difficult to make in roads in the area.

Broward county is a little better for some reason recruits have always gone out of state.

I think we can get bryant, but forston is a U man with or without his glock

It's possible, but CW and CB have to make one hell of a sales pitch for us to have a legitimate shot at those two. Forston had those quotes about wanting to get out of his bad neighborhood too. Nothing like going to a prestigious university and playing big time football right Marcus

There is no way that Bryant leaves the state of Florida. Zero chance.

Thanks for the backup Team.

Outside out the MNW kids, who else is at the top of the 'Canes board this year?

^ You'll have to ask Nix and Shannon honestly. The recruiting scene has been sort of quiet and Miami has a tendency to start reeling in later on in the year. There are PLENTY of options out there right now. The LB position in Florida is stacked with guys like Bradham, Ramon Buchanon, Sean Spence, Larentee McCray, Jordan Futch.....the list goes on and on. I'd like to get a few of those kids. The WR and CB positions are STACKED this year. Aldarius Johnson, Melvin Ray, Tay Odoms, Patrick Johnson, TJ Bryant, Jeremy Brown, Brandon Harris all have NFL potential. I can add names to that list all day.

Team, what do you think our chances are with Odoms?? Also, have you ever seen, or heard positive things about Marcell Rose??

Thanks a lot.

Well, he goes to Pahokee, which means that the chances of him going to Notre Dame are slim to none........and slim left the building back in the 80's. He's another kid that i see staying in state (not sure how he does in the classroom).

Marcell Rose is a kid i know nothing about.

You guys won't need Odoms if you can get kids like Floyd, Tate, and Kemp. I've heard rumblings that Odoms' grades might be suspect.

yeah, your'e probably right there. i think its as much a cultural issue than anything. these kids just like where they are. dropping them in the middle of south bend is as foreign as being on the moon.............

i think if he does leave it'll be to SB tho. i doubt he leaves though. same with forston, miami lock, but if he wanted to get out of there, i think he'd be irish.

Team great to see you back but give us a positive here     Kidding

anyone that has ever been near or at Pahokee will know that kids from there and Belle Glades just don't leave the area.

nothing out there and Belle Glades is known for the highest rate of HIV in the country.

odoms will stay in state. bryant may leave Fla but not to ND and forston will NOT leave Miami.
