Guest shark83
At the moment, Oklahoma looks to be the leader with FSU in 2nd.
MikejND
Boy is he athletic. Oklahoma has gotten off to a real good start.
Guest seniorle
Seriously, if Oklahoma pulls him in, that could potentially be 4 5* prospects already! That's like a USC class =P
irishziggy
i really hope we can get this guy. he looks like a great LB
Ricochet
i really hope we can get this guy. he looks like a great LBI agree but thats an understatement because I keep hearing more and more that he's the best HS LB that they've ever seen on film and I have to agree. He rates ahead of Gallipo and Donald and that alone says alot.
irishziggy
like i said in another thread, this guy's gotta be at the top of our list. having someone like this will make it fun for defensive guys to play for us.
Guest seniorle
here is a great free article about this kid. http://recruiting.scout.com/2/634000.html a couple of great quotes - “The comfort level with the players and coaches is another thing," he said. "I want to make sure I’ll like the coaches in two years and that they’ll like me. There’s nothing worse that playing somewhere you’re not happy at. I like coaches that are honest and straight-forward and give it to me how it is. It’s so easy to tell when a coach is blowing smoke." “I think I’d prefer a college town environment over a big city," he said. "I live in a tight-knit community and I think I’d like that in college.†“We’re trying to raise some money right now to take visits to as many schools as possible. It’s pretty expensive to travel around the country looking at colleges though. I think it's great to see that he going to go out and try to make his way and since money isn't as easy to come by for him, I would imagine that he's only going to go to the places he's really interested in. He sounds like a good hardworking kid and I wish the best for him, I just hope he ends up at ND (although it seems like OU is high on his list). Oh, and his brother sounds phenomenal too - Bryce Brown, running back, 6-2, 205, 4.
Ricochet
BTW alot of people think Bryce Brown is the best RB prospect in the nation regardless of class. What a coup it would be to get these brothers the #1 LB in '08 and the #1 RB in '09.
dangeruss
with what aurthor brown wants in a college its surprising he's not more interested in ND.
irish21
Its most likely OU.

Guest NDisNCin2010
in a nutshell...if we get some studs on the D side of the ball EARLY in the process...it may open him up to ND...he wants to play with the BEST, period, and be part of a swarming, nasty D. If he sees guys like Filer, Lewis-Moore, Hunter, Sabino,Bryant, jeremy Brown jumpng on the CW/CB/ND train we may have a shot. its just too damn bad CB wasnt here last year and had Tez Wilson and Donald to build a sick, nasty D with...all with a year under his belt. IrishCalves
NDisNCin, listening to Mike Frank's Power Hour, he shared a similar sentiment to yours. He dropped a tease last night, saying he heard something that has him believing we're legitimately in the race with Arthur Brown; moreso than most would think. He wouldn't reveal what was said - gave the impression that it was a private conversation that he wasn't supposed to divulge - but whatever was said leads him to believe that we are a contender, not just some fringe name on his list. I know there are some diverse opinions about Mike Frank on this board, but I felt like passing on the word I heard, which was positive. I know Arthur promised Corwin he'd visit this summer, so the door certainly hasn't been shut; it'll be something to monitor.
Guest CanadianIrishFan
ND has a shot with Filer, Sabino and Brown but the defense will have to play well this season for any of these guys to consider ND.
Archer13
The D might not have to put up great numbers but at least show a new aggresiveness and fire. Show these elite D players that it will be an exciting hard hitting system.
