I'm a bit skeptical about a close one in Ann Arbor. We'll see how the GT and Penn State games go. One thing I like is that we have a decent opponent to start the year AT HOME, and we have a much better opponent the following week on the road in Happy Valley. I truly think the outcome of these two games will define how we do in Ann Arbor.

 

I believe our 3-4 defense could very well confuse Anthony Morelli. A solid home win against GT and beating PSU on the road would give the guys enormous confidence...something they are going to need in Ann Arbor.

1. Tebow sucks, rushes for 500 yards and throws 15 INT's but Florida has good year anyway cause they're loaded with athletes.

 

2. OSU has solid year because the Big Ten and Youngstown St. are both down. (the will lose to Michigan, however).

 

3. Michigan won't win the NC because they'll lose to a team much worse than them (possibly ND, more likely Purdue or some other Big Ten chump).

 

4. LSU will be the class of the SEC but also lose to someone

 

5. USC will dominate the overrated Pac-10 and win the NC (possibly against the winner of the Texas/Oklahoma game). Booty's Heisman compaign will heat up after beating ND. Though no one will give ND respect as a legit team, for some reason it will be the ND game that wins him the trophy.

i agree if we play good with Ga Tech and then Penn state, we will beat Michigan, we should do very well against the rest of the teams except SC and Boston college, both of these games will be very close, there is a good chance that if the offense can put a lot of points on the board we could beat SC and BC also, because at this time of the year the defense has really improved and can keep some of the SC speedsters in check, otherwise i see a very good season for the irish, the defense will be so much better by the time we play BC, if we win , ?? We could be fired up enough to beat SC in a very close game, then i think that there is a very good possibility of playing Florida for the NC, Now before everyone gets to hard , just stop and think we will be a better team that last years team that played good and bad, charlie has made a lot of corrections and with the talent that we now have, we won't have to rely on a passing game,we will be a 60/40 run team if CW uses some of this new talent from last and this year., so my irish friends notre dame will be very good this year, sure we got less experience as we lost some good players but i see alot of promise in this team for this year

eventhough USC is apparently going to be really good next year i want to see them struggle, losing attlease 3 games with Booty being inefective. other teams will be pumped up tp play USC and USC could overlook some and end up with 3 surprising loses.. and all of that leads to more bad news for USC as they finally end up with some type of off the field troubles(Bush/McKnight/recruiting) and end up with restrictions that lead to new recruits shying away from USC like they never have before and USC ends up with a weak recruiting class, and Carroll gets out of dodge jumping to the NFL.

i want to see Zook exposed. not sure wheather he will actually be caught for cheating, but that word gets round to multiple players that he promises everyone playing time yet cant deliver because everyone cant be on the field at the same time.

similar to that of when you tell a bunch of girls the same thing not expecting them to talk to each other, only they do end up talking to each other and they all find out youve been telling them the same thing and its hey he told me that yeah well he told me that too.. and then you end up in alot of trouble with all the girls ..anyway players can find out that hes promising them all the same thing, but cant come through with said promises, and word gets out to recruits and they chose elsewhere aswell as recruits from this years class transfering.

 

all of the top tier SEC teams will beat up each other and all end up with attleast 1 loss.

i want to see every BCS conference team with attleast 1 loss, and then a non BCS team go undefeated leading to talks of wheather they should get into the championship game, maybe TCU?

i want some of the BCS conferences to be average/below average with the conference champion beating out the favorite, which means the conference champion that ends up going to a BCS game is only an average school with attleast 3/4 overall losses, and all of that will lead to more talk of finally instituting some type of playoff format, because it will be unfair for a say 9-4 team to go to a BCS game over a 11-2 team only because the 9-4 team beat the 11-1 team in the conference championship game.

 

i think thats what i want to se for now.

i dont look at mark may as a college football analyst anymore. he's def just a ND motivator. he comes up with all of the bulletin material and i love it because i know in high school that kinda stuff pumped me up and if there's always something out there about us getting beat, charlie will use that to help us.
