Ray Herring
Just like in NEs offense, WRs are a dime a dozen. When all is said and done, I think Kumara will be the best in this class.
HeliND
I think he'll be the only true one in this class
Guest kramer116
Still though, little was one of the best athletes in the country and we lost him because he was probably told ND would move him over to defense. This is some Bullshit, anyone know whats going on here, I never though losing little was an issue.
Guest mroct23
He said in a interview that when he did a gut check, Unc felt like home.
D Fence
Hopefully this will make things that much more appealing to Floyd, Buckner etal for 2008
Guest mroct23
He said it has nothing to do with Notre Dame, it's where he pictured himself being happy. He also said he put asidelocation issues, the winning, the offense, all of that and just picked the school that felt thr best. He said he did a gut check and UNC is where I feel at home." Junkhead
Dont know if I can post this but these are his thoughts..... "It's nothing to do with Notre Dame, it's more about where I picture myself being happy," he said. "I put aside all the location issues, the winning, the offense, all of that and just picked the school that I liked the best. It came down to a gut check and UNC is where I feel at home." Forget about winning and offense... Weird.
ND FANATIC
He said it has nothing to do with Notre Dame, it's where he pictured himself being happy. If he was gonna put aside winning and offense, why didn't he just go to Duke and stay home. I think its horse s&%t to back out on signing day, I mean he may have just cost some different kid a scholarship to play at ND, and that is crap. I don't care if he's 18 or not, be a man and stand by your commitments.

rdrdreamer
Just like in NEs offense, WRs are a dime a dozen. When all is said and done, I think Kumara will be the best in this class. Even with Greg Little...Duval was the best in this class. He was perfect for the style of offense that the Irish place on the field. Our running game should open up some defenses for Duval. I have said it before...and will second your opinion here 'Ray'...Kamara will be the next big weapon for Notre Dame!
dangeruss
i just finished watching duval kamara and harrison smith's highlight videos and harrison smith has the better WR skills i feel. he's got amazing speed, amazing jumping ability and amazing hand-eye cordination. he could easily come in and play WR but he's needed more at S. http://und.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/signingday-bios-07.html#allen
HeliND
I'm not too disappointed in Little leaving. I don't see WR as his best position. I also don't think he would start next year. Where I think guys like AJ Green and Floyd would start from day one. For our recruiting of WR's next year, I think we should go after Floyd, AJ Green, and Chicago Green. I always felt that while Greg Little had some skills at receiver...he is/was a much better linebacker, easily. The invisible writing may have been on the wall for Greg, especially after Donald and Edwards went elsewhere? By the way 'danger'...your right on the money with your insight's today. At least I see you working.
rdrdreamer
His reasoning is absolutely fine, and the proper way of thinking. His timing was inexcusable and weak. What really gets me is this...he was on national television during the Army All American game, standing side by side with Jimmyand Duval for a pose to market the game. Now it stands to reason he may have just been glossing himself?
reneg
The reason New England could get by with that is mainly due to the fact that they had the best defense in football. While I don't think Greg Little's departure is a major blow by any means, it does hurt some. The kid was a freakish athlete and baring injury should turn out to be a good college player whether its at WR, LB, or S. We aren't exactly hurting at WR, but we don't exactly have proven college talent either. Its going to be a year of finding out what some of these younger guys have and who really wants it the most. I think this does however open up the option of us landing a very elite WR class next season. AJ Green Michael Floyd Dan Buckner The chances of us landing all 3 are slim, but if Charlie could land 2 of the 3, we'd be in great shape and if he hauled in all 3, I think we'd have one of the best WR corps in college history in a few years. I don't know how pro ND AJ Green is, but I have read that he has been offered and he decommited from Georgia. Weis has now had another year to really learn the recruiting game and I think this year he learned more than any other. I think next year he will finally be where he needs to be in regards to knowing the recruiting game.

chirodomer
Let's face it. Nick Sukay exposed Greg Little for the fraud he is at WR. He is a GREAT athlete BUT he cn't catch the ball. Kamara comes down with the ball period! The one guy that I'm jacked up about is Emeka Nwankwo. You guys just wait and see. The kid is an MANIMAL! I've heard from my buddies that he is a smart kid and hard worker. I beleive he is of Nigerian descent. Those guys are known as Warriors! Some have said he was the best lineman coming out of Florida. I think this class will put 5 guys into the NFL.
