Just wondering if anyone else saw this, apparantly JaMarcus Russel is all of a sudden god and will go first and Quinn is now projected to drop to 9th, what are they basing this crap on, they havent even started the combine, what are they having pick up games on the street, this is ridiculous

Yeah BQ getting taken as the ninth pick... It's all BS :x

Not such a bad thing. The money is not as good up-front ,but it's more than he would see in a real job. Plus, he will not have to go to the suckiest team in the league. I would rather him end up at a team he could survive in and not get killed because of a poor offensive line.

i saw that earlier on ESPN that Quinn could drop to 9th which is Miami's pick. i dont want Quinn going to Miami!

i dont have a die hard favorite NFL team, but as for a team i root for more than others i like the Buffalo Bills, and the Dolphins and Bills are rivals. Buffalo hates Miami!

hopefully he drops to 9th and the Eagles trade the rest of their picks to Miami to get him. That way Donovan can groom him into being the professional he is, and we dont have to sign Jeff Garcia to starter's money just to be a backup. Grant it, I'm happy with his performance last year, but it was more of the system then him. The Eagles stopped putting everything in Donovans hands and slinging it all over the place and actually ran the ball, which gives the other team less touches and your defense a chance to rest. WOW!! anyway id like to see him go to his hometown team, the Browns. They're rebuilding, but they usually have a good O-line.

I hope the Skins get him at 6. I think he would do well in their offense.

It is all horse s*&t, but the farther he falls, the better off he will be. I do have a hard time believing that Detroit and Cleveland will pass on a quarterback though.

Mell kiper jr. says 9th but lets be serious, BQ has too much talent to drop to that, although going to miami would be better than going to oakland. I still dont see why oakland would want JR. He had a good game...not perfect vs ND's secondary. wow thats like getting a 90% on a math test when everyother kid in the class got a 90% or better. He throws so many pics it stupifes me. Go ahead take him first, that is so stupid though. i want brady to go to a good team, i actually hope he drops to the end of the 1st round for no real reason so the bears, or another successful team needing a qb can grab him.

I don't see several of those teams passing on a QB.

And Jamarcus Russell reminds me alot of Ryan Leaf.

i think BQ not being a top 5 pick could be better for his career.

I said this was going to happen months ago. It's the Matt Leinart syndrome. When a guy is the "#1 Guy" for over a year people just chip away and break him down.

Don't worry about Brady though, I'd still be shocked if he's lower than 5.

very true. they have probbly broken him down to much for their own good. they pretty much go out of their way to find faults in someone and try to convince themselfs he's not as good as advertised.

jAmARCUS rUSSELL WENT TO LSU. rEALISTICALLY, HOW MANY GUYS HAVE EVER COme out of LSU and actually played NFL ball a QB? Not many. I love te Dolphins! I hope he drops.

Yeah, Im glad he can throw out of a stadium, that makes him a number one pick...Quinn has two year expierence under a former NFL offensive coordinator who has SuperBowl Rings, two years expierence in a pro style offense, and was a 4 year starter who was NEVER hurt...in my opinion there is no debate who the better QB prospect is...its Brady Quinn

Yeah - but Russell has amazing size and arm strength. NFL teams look at potential and while Quinn may be more polished now, Jamarcus has the potential to be a great QB. I am not saying he will, but based on the physical attributes, he could.

It's going to take a lot to sell me Russell, and it's going to take at least three years to make him anywhere near a good NFL QB.

How many teams wait that long nowadays?

Quinn has the size as well 6'5, 225, I really hate how the combine hasnt even started yet and Quinn is dropping because of what? what exactly are the basing this on...hey if teams wanna pass on him thats fine, but they will be biting their tongues in a few years and the team that gets him, are getting a steal

Russell is a good QB, but top pick? I don't see how the Sugar Bowl made him the top pick.

our defense had a tendency to make everybody look good. the nfl will know better.........

I hope this is true. The lower he goes, the better off he will be. The teams picking early are picking there for a reason.

It is typical for there to be a huge difference in $ between the 1st and the 9th pick, but Brady is not going to lose money by going a little lower. He is the most NFL ready QB in the draft, and will get paid like the number 1 pick no matter where he goes in the draft.
