Rumor has it that Iowa has pulled his scholarship. Only a rumor.

Brian is taking a visit this weekend to ND. Not a rumor.

My call is that he is Irish.

I'm hearing that Brian Smith may have already committed to ND.

Dude Rock that is great news man.I will have to say you are the man again.

notice my use of the word "may". nothing public yet but I hear it may already be done. I'm trying to confirm it.

Is he visiting this weekend?

Is he visiting this weekend?

Yes.

FWIW, Iowa just picked up another LB commit.

so from what ive read Brian Smith originally was interested in ND but wasnt offered, so he instead chose Iowa. ND in need of more defensive players rethought that original decision not to offer Smith and instead offered Smith, which caused him to decommit from Iowa and now commit to ND ..good stuff

question.. are there any other defensive recruits out there who maybe had interest in ND but wernt offered? or is there a chance Brown can talk to some defensive recruits who have allready committed elsewhere and get them to come to ND?

Its A Done Deal...Let Us Welcome Brian To The Family!!!

'rdrdreamer... I think it should really say ... Welcome HOME Brian!! :D :D

He's always been in the family... and I'm grateful someone remembered to unlock the gate so he wasn't left to wear that hawkeye helmet.[/b]

Right you are '1qa'...right you are!

This makes me so happy. I graduated from st. thomas aquinas in 2002, my father has taught there for almost 20 yrs, and while our football program is on a steady rise, most of the colleges look at other schools in the area. I tell you I never hear any news about strong corn fed kansans in cfb recruiting, thus is a good change. go saints & GO IRISH
