9-3 with the upset of Michigan coming a week after the loss to Penn State. Michigan won't be as good next year as they were this year.

 

USC at home could be another classic, but winning at UCLA with all they have coming back, and at PSU will be tough.

 

If ND wins 9 games next year, I'll be a happy man.

Gotta see the Blue Gold game before any serious prognostication.

7-5 is the best we can hope for. Hopefully a midlevel bowl against an easy opponent. I don't see a first time starter at QB winning any of the first 3 games, and I could very well see Navy beat us.

 

Next year is going to be a very difficult year to be an Irish fan, but at least it will be interesting.

Wasn't that what was expected in '05 Blue? 9-3 is a possibility. Potential losses at SC and Mich, UCLA and PSU are tough as well. Nick, if Navy ends the streak, Charlie could be in trouble, don't see that happening. 9-3, 8-4 would be successes as long as team makes strides...would love to end the bowl curse, hopefully in the Cotton or something.

I think GT is going to be tough... I know they are beaking in a new QB but he looked like a real upgrade from Ball. I think we beat UM because we need it more than they do and LLOyd can only win it when his job is on the line. I say 8-4 would be a succesful season but I think we go 9-3. We will win a few we should not a lose a couple we should win. We will lose to GT, SC and one of BC, UCLA, or PU.

Since no one is going here I will

I agree worst case scenario is 7-5 with a bowl win, so 8-5 year wouldnt be bad for a rebuilding year, but expectations will be high for the '08 year

WELL I HAVE REVISED MY PREDECTIONS FROM A FEW WEEKS AGO FROM A 8 -4 RECORD TO THE FOLLOWING BASED UPON TEAM LOSSES IN PLAYERS LEFT FOR THE NFL, COACHES LEFT AND SOFORTH HERE IS MY NEW PREDECTION : i think that we will win a minimum of TEN GAMES THIS YEAR AND COULD WIN 11, the only games that will be close are Michigan, Boston College. USC, I look for the irish to win a squeaker at Michigan and USC, boston college will be the only Loss, this irish team is going to be a young hard hitting and much faster team, with coach brown on defense and Aldridge and JC getting into games as Frazer will be sharing some snaps, walker will be gone but i believe that we have a couple of young backs that can get the job done, but the irish wont get the NC game in 07 that will go to Florida, 08 will be the year that the irish get this game, i think that coach brown will move zibby, crum , he will go with the young guns who have more speed i think that irish fans will be surprised in the notre dame team of 07.

out offense will be good this year as the young ones get there chance to shine and shine they will, with Frazer and clausen both taking snaps we will be very good.

Penn St. just had that one good year a couple years ago, they have no one comin back but morelli, who is very overrated.

Michigan is a close game.

Michigan State is a win, since charlie said after that first mich state win against us, "We will NEVER lose to Michigan State again".

Purdue and Tiller dont have any firepower these last few years.

UCLA, this will be a close one, but we will pull it out, since they have no offense.

BC, new coach, really overrated, no talent, easy win

USC, we have a chance, but they just are too athletic all across the board

Navy, what is it, 43 game winning streak, but we keep it going easily

Air Force, no offense, and a bend but do not break defense, Claussen has a career day! Very easy win!

Duke, didnt know we played them already, thought it was in 2010, but this is total domination by us, forget Clausens career day, cuz he surpasses that on this day

Stanford, 1 win last year with the exact same team next year and new coach, easy win!

Then we go to a BCS bowl game cuz we will be in the top 12 probably, cuz of our contract, we will play a SEC school or Big East or maybe a Big Ten and hopefully win. I really hope we would play a Big 12 school since that is a really weak and overrated conference!!!
