here's a pic of him during last years US Army junior combine. this guy is going to be one heck of a player for ND, he's got amazing speed and look at the size of this kid. he's only 5'9 but 185 lbs. of solid muscle with 4.31 speed, i believe this guy will have a C.J. Spiller type of impact for ND this coming season. i can't wait unitll spring when allen just runs right threw NDs defense.

no i don't think he'll be walter payton. by the start of the season i think he could be our #2 RB and eventually be co #1 with DW. he will be a real weapon specially in the passing game and as a kick returner. he's a north south runner with amazing speed, he'll be able to hit the hole a lot faster than DW and without all that dancing.

How is Allen progressing through his injury?

I am really looking forward to next year with our RB rotation of Walker (he had a great year and looked a step faster in the Sugar Bowl), Aldridge (I'm thinking 700 plus yards next season), and Allen as a scat back.

A strong running game will help us win 9 games next year. I'm putting it out there, I think we win 9 games.

I agree we will be better than people think next year. JC looked very good in the AAA game and with the added year of experience our OL will be very good with the young guys stepping in - I like Romine a lot, much like Young.

Should be a fun year to watch if AA and Trattou play to their capabilities.

5'9'???  One of those TV shots when a linemen helps the runner back up that I'd like to see. Sam Young helping him up 6'9".  Just run under the other D lines armpits

I agree with you guys...our team is going to surprise people next year. We've got some good talent already, and with this class we've got coming in there should be no shortage of young playmakers. The only thing that I am afraid of is that CW won't play the young guys like he did this past year. IMO Aldridge and/or Prince both should've gotten a lot more touches this year.

Allen could be our Ladanian Tomlinson. He reminds me of LT a little bit. Speed, cutting ability, and surprising strength for his size.

I got frustrated with Walker too, but the reason Aldridge and Prince didn't see more time is pretty simple: they haven't mastered the blocking schemes and the pass-catching yet. If you noticed, each had a screen pass thrown to them this year, and both looked very bad dropping it. Charlie wants to be sure they can block and catch. Next year, they better have that down so they can take more carries from Walker and keep him fresh.

What's going to happen to Prince now? Move him to .. ?

We have more talented people ahead of him at RB with Walker, Prince, Allen, Aldridge, and Thomas ..

I think he could make a move to CB...

Weis said last year in his NSD press conference Prince is staying on offense. I wouldnt scratch Prince out just yet

DW looked pretty darn good in the Sugar Bowl, hopefully he can do that on a more consistent basis next year being it his senior season

WHAT ????

The next Walter ??? Stop yourself...he is shorter, smaller and faster than Walter was at his age, he is going to a top program not a small school near home...and until he shows me he can block, kick, throw and continue a work ethic that is second to none in the history of football, you need to keep his name out of your mouth...NOBODY WILL EVER BE THE NEXT WALTER PAYTON...

WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS WEBSITE??? IS IT NATIONAL ASS CLOWN DAY? ? ?

FROM THE SAVING SCHOLARSHIPS TO NEXT SEASON, TO COMPARING A HIGH SCHOOLER KID TO THE GREATEST FOOTBALL PLAYER OF ALL TIME... THIS IS JUST KILLING ME...
