January 8, 200718 yr im not sure what they were thinking when the listed JC and trattou so low. Ya What were they smokin that day.
January 8, 200718 yr Yeah, if those are recently updated, did they take into account the AA game?? Was any ESPN/Scouts Inc. guy even there? Trattou is probably the 3rd best DE in the country behind Ev Griffen and Ben Martin, in my opinion. And he's close to as good as them. And JC was by far the most impressive QB during the week, and looked very good in the game. Ridiculous. He should be at least top 3 in every ranking. Marvin Austin wasn't that great by the way. Romine and co. shut him down.
January 8, 200718 yr Author i totally agree jersey. also where is blackwell and armando allen at? i'd rank blackwell ahead of ian williams.

Eagle your right. did you see JC first pass of the game...WOW! his release was so fast that i didn't even see the ball in the air and what great accuracy he has also. on that fade pass in the endzone he dropped it right in their. i also agree that i was less than impressed with m. austin.
January 8, 200718 yr I sure would like to see the 17 DE better than Trattou, he looked pretty good to me.
January 8, 200718 yr I think Austin and C. Donald are physical freaks, but are not that skilled yet. They certainly have enormous potential, but against good competition, they didn't dominate. Griffen is a freak too, but he showed he is quite skilled as well. Him and Gallippo were the two best on the West Defense, which sucks for us since they will be Trojans. At least we got Gray and Trattou though, who were two of the best on the East Defense.
January 8, 200718 yr I sure would like to see the 17 DE better than Trattou, he looked pretty good to me. yeah right. if their are 16 DE's better than he is their is a slew of stud DE this yr.
January 8, 200718 yr just looked at the golden tate film on espn. unbelievable cuts and footwork. great speed. some of the best recruit footage ive seen this year. get this kid the football next year. i know a lot of you want him on defense and i say whatever gets him on the field will make us a better team. great pickup for CW out of TN.
January 8, 200718 yr JC at No. 8 has a lot to do with Luginbill thinking that there isn't much difference between the No. 1 and 10 QBs. Which to me is ludicrous. It was fairly obvious that there is a big difference between Clausen/Mallett and the rest of the pack. I've also heard Luginbill rave about Terrance Tolliver, who I think is wildly overrated.
January 8, 200718 yr JC's rating of 86 would have put him is a tie for 30th overall last year behind QBs Mitch Mustain, Tim Tebow, Jevon Snead and Matthew Stafford.
January 8, 200718 yr Fellas, no need to get worked up over JC's ESPN rating. Leave the recruiting rankings for Rivals and Scout to do....
January 8, 200718 yr JC's rating of 86 would have put him is a tie for 30th overall last year behind QBs Mitch Mustain, Tim Tebow, Jevon Snead and Matthew Stafford. I guess throwing 49td's against 6int's, winning a state championship, being named all american player of the year and never losing a high school game gets you dropped 7 or 8 points over the course of the season (He started like 94 or 93). I could really care less. People outside of ND want this kid to fail. JC will be a stud and he was CW's first choice and that's all that matters.
January 8, 200718 yr I agree with mancrush (still looking forward to seeing what that name means). I am completely impressed with JC's accuracy and his ability to make good things happen. There have been no good reasons to drop his ratings points ... at all.
January 8, 200718 yr Fellas, no need to get worked up over JC's ESPN rating. Leave the recruiting rankings for Rivals and Scout to do.... ummm, isn't luginbill part of scouts?? or am i confusing something here?

Leave the recruiting rankings for Rivals and Scout to do.... ummm, isn't luginbill part of scouts?? or am i confusing something here? Luginbill is with Scouts Inc and then there is Scouts. Two completely different sites. Hope this helps.
