I know he is listed at 6-3 but he appears to be only 6ft. Check out this video of jc, kamara and little. GL is 6-2 but appears to be a few inches taller than Jc.

I'm taller then Clausen and that was in Sept. I was about 10 feet from him and he was not taller then me, and im 6"1.5

Could be the angle? An optical illusion with him standing a couple of feet the back.

ive got a picture of him, not standing next to me but he's definitely not a Brady size QB

I don't know, the only height I've seen him listed as is 6-3. I really doubt he's 6-0.

Agreed Rockne! I also have a picture of Jimmy Clausen standing next to Marc Tyler and Tyler is listed at 6'0. Clausen is easily three inches taller than Tyler! I cant wait to get this kid on campus! Its like getting the gift on Christmas morning you just could'nt stop thinking about on Christmas eve! Santa Clausen has arrived!

Amen. If height (or age) were a factor, at least one of these geniuses at the recruiting sites would have noticed.

and by the way, a certain HOF QB was only 6' or 6'1"---Joe Montana. Let's get back to what counts and the positives. I just can't believe we are looking at the negativity of landing Jimmy frickin' Clausen.

How about Doug Flutie, Drew Breese or (and this is a little OT) Tony Rice?

QB's these days have to be tall to see over beasts like Sam Young.

I have seen Jimmy play on several occasions. While I never stood closer than 50', his height was clearly above average. I was too impressed by his overall appearence...his demeanor. He has presence, on and off the field.

Just FYI: I think you're asking a valid question -- will his height be an issue at the next level?

But the fact that the experts have him as the number one recruit in the country and the best QB coming out of Cali in years means that the answer is a resounding "no." One would think that they would have looked closely at something so... quantitative. Now other things certainly could come into play -- his speed, his maturity, injuries, his development, personal matters...

I will give it to you JC does look a few inches shorter then Little,
