I doubt it El. We can always hope though. He has given in to the darkside...

He's set to start class soon at U of I.

Let's put this to rest for the 9 millionth time fellas.

Time for another piece of useless information from yours truly:

Darth Vader never says "Luke, I am your father." In reality, it wasn't nearly as definitive and quotable. It was merely, "No, I am your father," which was said in response to Luke claiming Darth Vader killed his father.

But on topic, I highly doubt Benn comes back. It'd be pretty cool though.

wut makes anyone think he may decommit from illinois and come to us?

He was a silent for a really long time, it is just taking a really long time to accept

I was all for keeping the trash talk to a minimum until he let his decision be known. Now, all I have to say is f%#k him. ND will not float or sink based on one guy. He made his bed. I won't lose one minute of sleep about his potential decommiting from Illinois. I doubt it, but I don't give a crap. He's dead to me. Let's move on.

STAR WARS IS FOR NERDS.....Star Trek on the other hand kicks ass. hahaha we are all such nerds

Star Wars/Star Trek are for nerds with no hope of landing a broad...Lord of the Rings is for the playas. We are the cool, good looking anti nerds...whoops, I dropped my taped together eyeglasses into my pocket protector and scratched them with my protractor...

Who's Benn? Seriously, this could be the question four years from now.

Haha seriously. Tez does think he's going to see some time at WR so who knows. I'd take the 6'4" 225 pounder who runs a 4.5 over Benn.

Benn at this point is a non-issue for ND. We most likely won't play them in the near future and the competition we will face in the next few years is going to be on the recruiting front.

I see us losing Hughes, but in the big picture, I not sure it will hurts us that much.

Honestly, Benn and those guys are going to burn a couple of years at Illinois with non-winning seasons. It will take Zooker a couple of more years to produce a winning record. Benn, Wilson and the others will need to play right away to make impact. It is ok to tell recruits you are a cool coach, but if you have 4 years of losing its no longer cool to play for a losing coach. It will be fun to see next years recruiting battle between Illinois and ND.

Maybe Wilson feels he can make the switch to receiver as Greg Little has done, will do, can do? I do not think the Illini have depth returning in this area, at least experienced depth. Should be interesting to say the least?

'ndblue' Are we out on Robert Hughes? Hunch or fact? I probably missed something.

No I pretty much repeating some general stuff I hear. Keep hearing stuff about Illinois trying to pull him. Things like Brent, Wilson and others trying to pull him to Illinois. Honestly, I do not have any inside info.

If Rock is right and we still have a chance at Wilson somehow and we get him then we will get Hughes.

Just crossing my fingers!

Yes...I just read that too, about Martez. I never really felt that Robert would be influenced by Tez. I always felt that Robert was going where the offense would give him a more direct avenue to the NFL. Tez may not have seen this avenue...being he is defense orientated?

I wouldn't be too surprised to see any of these kids decommitt, but I'd atleast cut them some slack. Personally, I couldn't decide between the schools I wanted to play at until late April. It's probably the biggest decision they had to make.
