i can't wait to see him at WR, it might take a little time to learn the WR position but when he does the upside will be huge. this guy is a stud of an athlete and will be a mismatch against every corner. he's reminds me a little of calvin johnson with more athletic ability and less speed.

i love the last line of that article. this kid is going to fit in very well at ND.

Great article....I wouldn't mind seeing Little next year at LB by the way, he could have an immediate impact there as well.

g. little would make an amazing OLB but if we can land donald, m. smith and maybe even edwards i would rather just keep little at WR. little has the makings of becoming a big time WR with his size, speed and amazing athletic ability (40 or 41 inch verticle).

I agree russ. Who the hell is going to be able to cover Little?? Hands may be a question, but that's something can definitely be worked out by the time the season starts. Also, if Little could get his speed down to a 4.5 or 4.45, then he would really be a freak.

I've watched a lot of TO this year as I am a cowboys fan, and from what I've heard and seen of GL, that's definitely who he reminds me of. Big, strong, and athletic but with bad hands. I can't tell you how many times TO has dropped a super important pass that just crushed the cowboys and he never blames himself. I'm sure Greg can improve his hands under Weis and hopefully he'll be a much better player than TO.

G Little will certainly have a better attitude than TO.

I think TO is a fine physical speciman.. he can be clutch... but he gets into these head games that ruin team chemistry.

If ND had a player that acted the slightest bit like T.O. I'd go crazy. T.O. just drives me so crazy; he yells at his teammates when they do something wrong, and then he drops passes. I wish he would just shut up some day.

You and me both.

At first I thought he might be worth the headache, but after watching him play the whole season, I can say w/o a doubt that he's not. He just drops wayyyy too many balls.

I have no doubt GL has a better attitude and I believe CW would kick off anyone on the team if he had an attitude like that.

dropping balls is the least of your concerns with t.o. trust me, im from philly...............

Haha, I'm not concerned about him dropping balls, I'm concerned when he yells at his team when they do something wrong, and then he drops passes in return. But yes his attitude is absolutely horrible.

Guys, lets not say that Little has bad hands, and certainly not terrible. It's just that there were early reports that they may be questionable, which is totally fixable.

I agree, hands are a fixable problem and I have no doubt that he'll work on it since he has the right attitude towards it. Sorry to get off on a TO tangent

Questionable hands, marginal speed, great size and athleticism...90% of NFL linebackers came into college the same way...look for him to be the best OLB in the last 20 years at ND when it is all said and done.

Project him as a DJ Williams type OLB who can equally cover the pass / rush the qb and contain the outside running lanes...with Donald at MLB no team will be able to run on us...and with McNeal / Gary / Walls / S. Brown and Harrison Smith in the secondary...I will welcome USC to air it out against a revamped Defense

NATIONAL CHAMPS IN '08 !!!!!!

i agree with you coach that GL would make an amazing OLB but if we land donald, smith and edwards their won't be enough room for everyone. i think GL will be able to dominate at his WR position with his overall package. the great thing about little is that we could plug him in anywhere and he would succeed.
