In the last three USC/Notre Dame meetings, the Irish have been outscored 130-37, jeeze how sad is that..13 days until ND hosts USC at home. Overall the Fighting Irish lead in the series 42-29-5...The Irish are 23-10-1 at home and 17-19-4 on the road against them...Since 1997 Notre Dame has gone 3-8. Hopefully Coach Charlie, Brady Quinn, Darius

and all the gang will wake up the echoes...here is my prediction for that

Remember though, that Bob Stoops' only National Championship was won with most players recruited by James Blake. Sometimes you never know.

Understand that Astro. Meaning all we have read is ND recruited so BAD the last two year prior to Weis. Now suddenly they are Ty or Davie boys. (Go figure)

 

Outstanding coaches...note they are TEACHERS...can motivate and have Reuben Mendoza to whip them into shape to go beyond what any team we faced yet has done.

 

Our 'genius' head coach? Simply as I have read, NEVER faced the type ball Purdue was playing since his HS days. So? Simply spent the SUMMER..note that far ahead for an October 1st Purdue game...calling around to other coaches who have dealt with it and solved it to ask them How to defeat it. That is one heck of a coach. If he doesn't know he goes and learns. That is an admission I still learn and I expect my coaches to keep learning. Not the same ole same ole thing. It evolves and is ever changing.

lol that scene is awesome...too bad he is a grad. id like to laugh at him when Nd wins. I remember seeing him on the regis and kelly show and i remember regis talking crap with him about usc vs nd....then regis gave the band the signal and the played the fight song as will just laughed.

I saw that. regis called him "Elf" several times did not know about the ND Band music. Thanks so much for adding to a memory.......

I HOPE MY NFL TEAM...DRAFTS BRADY QUINN AND DARIUS WALKER...MAYBE COACH WEIS CAN CALL PLAYS VIA PHONE ON SUNDAYS...GO IRISH AND GO NFL TEAM THAT I ROOT FOR AS WELL

Coach Dan...Green Bay has to (cough) suck worse then they do this year to get Brady following year for most likely 1st round draft?. He's sneaking under Heismen radar this year but so what? Awards really mean little. Not getting into NFL things.

 

Am sure Coach Weis has a chunk of calls already from NFL GMs on various players. (Selling point in recruiting) One big thing is the Kids at ND are already doing it the Pro way so have little wasted downtime re learning something, if and when they ever go to NFL.. Too soon though. Once they graduate, bye and I wish em luck on any team.
