I hear Justin is hitting the weights hard and is getting bigger by the day. I think he has an excellent chance of starting next year.

I think all ND fans are going to love this kid.

yes they are!!!!!!!!!!

I think Trattou really impresses in San Antonio, á la Robert Rose last year. Glad he's Irish.

man right youre right, rose totally dominated.

And Rose was a bit under the radar (he wasn't on the Rivals 100 before the game, for instance). That game elevated him to 5 stars. I could see Trattou doing the same thing.

He's going to tear it up off the edge. I think he's too much of a weapon there to be moved inside...at least this year. He will eventually be moved inside because of our lack of depth at DT which to me is a shame. He'll be all american regardless though. That's my prediction.

4 sacks, 9 tackles and a forced fumble in his last game?!!

Wow!

Trattou is a pure defensive end! That is where he will line up from and thats where he will stay. Nwankwo and Williams are the inside guys! Talk aobut BIG defensive tackles!

I hope he gets Abiamiri's number- #95

Trattou is a beast and he can have any # he wants, but hopefully Blackwell will get first dibs at that :D

After reading that article i love that guy... there's no doubt left in my mind that he will dominate at the collegiate level...

He just has the look of a mean D-lineman. For starters he looks solid (no neck) and really fits that nasty character that we are recruiting.

I don't see Trattou leaving DE.

He is a beast and will eventually be an AA at ND

I hope he doesn't break free with a clear shot on the QB in the AA game this year. That wouldn't be good at all. At least until Jimmy has put up big numbers and is replaced by Mallet...then I hope he lays the smack down!!!

I really hope we get Ben Martin, because the trio of him, Kerry Neal, and Justin Trattou would be unstoppable at rushing the passer. Two at a time, sub on and off to stay fresh. Whereas this year we only had one good DE, Victor. That hurt us a lot. We have Kallen Wade too, hopefully he pans out and provides depth.
