No one is gunna give us a chance in the world, just watched Mark May bash ND and said the game will be close for maybe a quarter, well look what happened when UCLA had their backs against the wall, theres nothing more dangerous, were back to being underdogs, and guess what last year that worked out pretty well during a lot of games, GO IRISH

Let's get it done boys!!!!!!!

We better have a great gameplan going into this game. LSU is likely the most talented team we'll face this year except prolly USC. They have a great defense with a great D Line, our guys gotta do their job to give Brady Quinn time.(the o line from Mich and UCLA can't show up for this game) I'm not sure how great their d backs are but if Brady has time, they should be able to pass on them. The run may be difficult but the team can't just abandon it either.

LSU played at Auburn, at Florida, at Tennessee, at Arkansas. They definately played a tough schedule (though i think the SEC isn't all it is cracked up to be, tune in Jan 8th to find out for sure, OSU likely wins BIG). The home field advantage seems to be huge in the SEC. Their offense scores over 30 ppg but doesn't really scare me. They are a fast team on both sides.

I like the fact that we have Brady and Charlie vs Jamarcus and Miles. That definately bodes well for us. Charlie will learn from the mistakes he made last year. I agree we'll be a heavy underdog (around 7-10 points is likely) and I like that. Play with nothing to lose. Cheers to Charlie and co. coming up with a game plan to take advantage of LSU's aggressiveness. Let's go ND and take home a bowl win for the first time since '93(i think). Notre Dame wins in a close one with a late drive by BQ

I like the match up. It should be an evenly matched game. LSU plays hard and should bring the best out of the Irish.

Mark May is anti Catholic :D

guys....Mark May isnt the only one not giving the Irish a chance. Lee Ziemba says 28-3 LSU

I really don't like this matchup. Its bad on every aspect of offense and worse, defense

Soko....i agree it doesnt look good. But weve gotta try and stay positive, and believing we can beat them is the only way we can have a chance at beating them!

i request that our official Sugar Bowl cheer be....

"GEAUX IRISH!!!! BEAT TIGERS!!!!"

Tigers have some horses .. it'll be a challenge. Containing Early Doucet will not be very easy. I TIVO'd some of their earlier games and will take a look ..

Has Mark may seen JR play...um i think we've got a shot to win...and even win big if we put some of our younger cb speed on thsoe receivers. hes got no accuracy, no patience and his only hope are wide open wr's down field, so if there is a guy on them we can win.

I hope we win this game... but its going to be a huge challenge... LSU has tons of talent on that team...

LSU very talented, this game will go to the end. Mistakes cant happen because they will take advantage. They got Farmer and Doucet guys make plays. We need our O-Line to play A+ ball or it could be a long day for brady.

Protect Brady, keep the offense on the field, score points, Carlson will be back which will be nice, O-Line does a good job, Keep there offense to about what 17-20 points? and we'll find a way to win.

when i think of LSU i think of a strong defensive team, but after looking at their schedule i see some high scores.. allthough are they inflated with the competition theyve played?

should be a really good game, and a good test for the ND offence aswell as the ND defence.

LSU is very talented, they have begun to use a freshman trendan holliday as a speedster, he is 5'8 and runs extremely fast, hopefully ND is ready for a speed team, LSU has three good wide receivers that are tall and physical. Hopefull ND's secondary is up for the task
