You guys know that Chris Donald is my favorite guy still on the board. A combination of Donald and Wilson would be an incredible coup for our defense. Those are the physical specimens that our D has needed for quite some time and has not been landing.

I also thought that the social life at Notre Dame was better than I thought it was going to be and we had plenty to do on Saturday night. That was pretty important to me and I was able to get a better idea that you have things to do at Notre Dame in the winter."

shark83, broker3d...great updates to say the least. I am very much on line with the idea of having both Donald and Wilson. It seems to me that our offensive will mature very nicely...and with the two mentioned players along with our commits, and our returning players...we just may become a bit 'nasty' on defense? I am still holding out hope for both Blackwell and Edwards? And could Williams be close to maxing us out?

 

Can someone please help me with how many openings would be remaining...with our possible verbals taken into account?

broker(anyone?)...do you feel that we could take both Wilson and Martin? Along with Neal, do you see all three of them on the field next year? Would be awesome to say the least...but would one of them could be odd man out? Last question please...if Coach Weis was visiting Griffen this past week, and he was able to sway him to South Bend, what would our depth chart look like at defensive end? And wouldn't Trattou also be considered a defensive end?

I'm not basing this on anything but I just don't have a good feeling about Martin. That could just be because I hear nothing from him.

 

Could we land Trattou, Neal, Martin, Donald and Tez. Sure we could but that would be an incredible get. neal and Martin are coming in as DE's as is Trattou but I really think that Trattou becomes a DT. Tez and Donald are coming in as LB's with the potential to grow into DE's.
