Guest 3fp
I was watching ESPNU recruiting show and they were overviewing ESPN 150 and they brought up Justin Trattou and Luginbill (sp?) had good things to say about Justin, but Haubert said nothing and then when pressed by the announcer he said he is okay for a Texas player. Gee such hatred towards a ND recruit. 3fp
Guest mpstunner11
For one thing he is from Jersey so Habert prolly does not know what he is talking about.
Guest 3fp
This is why it is so tough to get some kids to seriously look at ND when pundits and recruiting experts (so called) have such hatred for ND. Yes, I know that Justing is from Jersey, but for a recriting analyst to make such a comment it is a joke. 3fp

Guest NDEagles379
Does anybody think Trattou could start next year at DE? I think he could. If not, I still see him getting significant time. He could be John Ryan's backup at SDE, or play WDE with Justin Brown. I'm hoping Kallen Wade shows something too. And Morrice Richardson could play a lot at WDE if he doesn't move back to LB. dangeruss
i don't know if he'll start or not but he will get a lot of playing time.
GoIrish24
We should have lots of depth for the D-line in the next few years.
Guest NDEagles379
GoIrish, the depth you refer to is at Defensive End, not Defensive Tackle. We're very thin there now. Hopefully Blackwell and Chris Perry help solve that problem (plus Nwankwo or Nuss).
GoIrish24
Yeah we've got lots of depth at DE. We do have Paddy Mullen, but we definitely need more guys there. Barksdale would be a great get for us.

tchris555
i love the trattou avatar. can't wait to see him in the AA game. what i got from that game last year is that McNeil is legit and ditto Wenger. When Wenger was in you didnt hear anything from McCoy. When Wenger got hurt McCoy was all over the backfield. the '06 O line class, if Stewart can get it goin, might be a legendary class. BTW, i realize i'm a continuity killer.
Guest bhatta
We just need guys that can get to the QB. Imagine if we had a legit pass-rusher opposite Abiamiri? No knock on Frome .. he just couldn't get to the QB.
patches12345
tchris , 2 things 1. thanks for liken the avater lol 2. i completely agree about what you saw at the AA game last year. mccoy became a monster only when Wenger heard his ankle pop and sat out the game. I feel bad for Wenger cause he got hurt then and then this year when he could have earned some PT he broke his arm/wrist/or hand. We will def. see him next year though Go Irish. jfschellcrna
i work with danny's cousin, she said he was really bummed that he got hurt this year. she said that he can't wait to line up with sammy and knock some people around just like old times. she also said that he is an impatient person, and does not want to be sitting on the bench. he's tired of being injured. rehabbing well and looking forward to the spring. she also said that he has developed a bit of a salty tongue (which he did not have before) ala charlie!!!!!!! hahahaha.... Last year's class was the consensus #1 in the nation for O-line....Clausen's uni is going to be pretty clean from 2008-2010 (if he stays that long)
