December 1, 200618 yr the gamebreaker we've all been waiting for will finally arrive this january. this guy and donald were the two left on the board that i wanted most. they are so explosive and will make a huge impact at their position.
December 1, 200618 yr this is the gamebreaker that ND has never landed in recruiting before. i love how strong and powerfull his lower body is and once he hits the hole he can pickup 7-8 yards in no time. i can't wait to see CW use AA in the screen game, should be lots of fun to watch.

December 2, 200618 yr I agree with Broke. The kid is great but he has nowhere near the speed of Rocket or Reggie Bush. Very quick. And he has really good speed. But not speed like the aforementioned two or even a guy like Percy Harvin.

Armando Allen (Allen Video from Sunshine Preps) verballed to Notre Dame today (Mike Frank had this first.) Allen is Notre Dame's biggest running back pick-up in years... Did they just say, Allen is Notre Dame's biggest running back pick-up in years... HUH!!!! did they not know that we got 5 STAR JA LAST YEAR!! these guys kill me. anyway im soo happy to have AA! verified 4.31 speed is just nuts.

December 2, 200618 yr its tough 555 we dont know how good JA is OR AA is, but to say AA is the best in years is silly imo. i just feel like its a slap in JA's face. because we have only seen JA in garbage time for the most part. the article simply said "best running back in years" and trust me i hope they are right!! i cant wait till next year with that crazy backfield.
December 2, 200618 yr yeah, no doubt. I do expect great things out of aldridge. But lets just say i think Darius has had a great career and i still think Allen brings more to the table than D Walk does. It's just something we haven't "landed" since Julius.

December 3, 200618 yr guys guys guys, just think of our running attack next year, not only do we have two backs, but three, darius is kind of inbetween the two, fights for yards and gets them, but you have JA who is power all the way, and then gamebreaker like AA, our running game is unstoppable next year, AA is enrolling early just to throw that our there, JC wont have to throw that much with our dominant running game next year, just imagine in 08, good luck trying to stop us, NC NC NC NC NC, period.

December 3, 200618 yr Are you guys nuts???? Not as fast as Harvin or Reggie Bush???? A verified 4.31 forty!!!!! As fast if not faster than Bush and Harvin! Thats NCAA 07 fast! Rocket was in the 4.2's but Allen has every bit if not more speed than Bush and Harvin. Dont undercut the kid! We just got a TRUE gamebreaker!
December 3, 200618 yr lets take a look back at reggie coming out of high school http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=15&p=8&c=1&nid=222247 now here's armando allen http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=109&p=8&c=1&nid=2360408 bottom line i'd say is Armando Allen has great potential. you can't say he's better than bush was coming out of high school, but he has many of the same tools. their running styles are different as well. watch reggie bush's legs. he seems taller than he is when he runs and has a relaxed gait. then look at allen who has his legs pumping. there is no question that allen has breakaway speed. i think this is a kid we can all be excited about.
