walkers returning

Walker will return, and if ND makes a BCS bowl then Charlie Weis is the greatest coach in history. A 9-3 regular season would be a tremendous accomplishment

this is Notre Dame! we expect to be in contention every single year.

i think Walker will return. he isnt really in a position where he will be selected early in the draft right? so i dont see why he would want to leave ND early.

should Clausen start the season from the first game?

Anybody who thinks Walker isn't returning needs to tell me where he is gonna be drafted and ahead of whom, because I am at a loss for words at any entertainment of the thought that he would leave early. He could possibly not get drafted when he does graduate.

Harsh but true. Solid college RB. That's it.

I don't think he is going pro this year, but .....

DW is currently about a 3rd rounder....maybe 4th. The only thing DW is really lacking is blazing speed. I know some of you guys don't like him, but you can't take away the fact that he is one of the most complete backs in football outside of speed.

Speaking of DW being a complete back--was anyone else thinking that when Aldridge missed that screen pass to the right? We take DW's catching ability for granted sometimes. I think JA will be a great back but that play was noto pretty and I'm glad we have Walker and yes he will be back next year.

Well, who do you think we will lose to next year

We get automatic wins over the last four, and we automatically lose to Michigan, and USC definitely a favorite. I'm not too sure about anyone else, I would think we do well against GT, as they lose Calvin Johnson and Reggie Ball.

Those are my picks, 7-5...maybe 8-4 if we win at Purdue or UCLA.

I think USC, Michigan, and probably PSU will be losses next year

Yeah, aldridge missing that pass was rough...He almost looked like a kid who wasn't used to his size, yet. Also, don't get me wrong...I love Darius...but it is tough for me to see him going anywhere in the draft except late second day or not even drafted.

12-0... can it be any other way?

the one thing that worries me the most if ND goes 7-5 is how would that effect recruiting.

I'd like to think that most kids would be informed of the predicament we were put into by the previous coaching staff.

im not sure how many kids would realize that. the '04 and '05 classes were probbly the worst in ND history.
