I was going to start this tomorrow, but i didnt want to get beat, i understand if this thread starts slow since the game is next saturday and all. No negativity guys, I dont care if you have like questions and such, but doubts and like, just plain negativity that nd cant beat usc is not allowed, keep it to yourselves. You guys should do the same. Dont worry about the other teams, only focus on the trojans, going into there house, and beating them.

Petey's a lot more beatable this year than last year. CJ Gable is good but he's mistake-prone and he's no Bush. Jarrett is having a down year and Booty has a tendency to overthrow his WRs. Their secondary can be beat (see Oregon St) and I agree with Derek Landri when he says that we match up well with them. I think you'll see a different ND team than we have seen the last 7 weeks, with more aggressiveness on D and a greater sense of urgency. Personally, I can't wait to hear Poodle after the game explaining how "a lot had to go wrong" for USC to lose again, as he did after losing to the Beavers.

i only saw parts of the USC game last night, but at one point i saw Dwayne Jarrett going off the field with an apparent injury, is he hurt? or is he ok?

special....i saw that to..he jogged off the field so id guess hes ok.

Notre Dame is going to take it to them.

did you guys see espn yesterday when they said that coach weis has seen every offensive and defensive play usc has had this season...thats awesome

I have written this before, but ND has been planning for USC since at least after the Michigan State game.

 

They want this game more than any other on the schedule, you could tell by what happened after the game yesterday.

ya this is really the game of the year for the irish. for what happened last season and for them pretty much owning us for like the last 5 years or so, this game means a lot. it affects the bcs, the players heading into the bowl game, and recruiting.

another thing to remember is guys, the irish cant do anything about the polls, any of them, they cant do anything against ohio state, michigan who they lost to, or florida. the only team that matters, all that the irish can do is go into LA and beat the hell out of the trojans.

BUT, there is a thing the IRISH can do.

 

This BCS is made up of 1/3rd computers. I ask who programs them? Show me, tell me tell the public how fair it is. (Why hide it?)

 

1/3rd Harris (Human) Who's on the list to vote? Who has bias and prejudice? Who actually has any football knowledge and what is their allegiance to schools or conferences?

 

1/3rd Coaches. (Human) (Concealed till the end of the year as to who votes who where.) Make them publish the results and open them WEEKLY. Personally for Weis why should I wait 12 weeks to find out which Coach who publicly said he is arrogant voted him 14th like Spurrier did? Why can't a coach in the public eye take public heat? I thought they had b**ls?

 

Yes there is something you can do. Who said we cannot change the way these rules are? Who said we have to abide by these rules set up by someone in a smoke filled back room?
