I have no idea if this is true or not but I am hearing rumors that he is commited to Florida. He was on an official visit to UF this past weekend and he had a great time. He may have commited, but I am not sure. News should break shortly (maybe as soon as today?) if he has commited.

 

In other news, the person I know down in South Florida still says Allen likes ND heavily. I don't know if he has spoken with him after his UF visit, but I know the kid still likes Notre Dame. Everyone seems sure he is a Gator though.

 

Major Wright will likely be heading out of state. For a long time I thought it was Miami, but now I think it may be an out of state team. Florida is trying hard to land him, but I still think he leaves the state. It is open season on Miami commitments/leans right now as the Canes are struggling to hold on to their class.

 

Are there any other Florida prospects you guys are wondering about? I know James Wilson is sniffing around but everybody says he won't de-commit from SC.

This kid is not going to be a safety. Good for him though, hope he's happy at FL.

If he goes to Florida then it is almost a lock that he will play OLB. One thing about Meyer is that he is all about speed. He loves speed like a fat kid loves cake. Edwards has good speed for an OLB but not so much as a S. I think Edwards could play safety in the Big Ten though.

Nice knock on the Big 10 Sunshine...Wilson is solid on SC, I've read he took the trip to appease his Ma. Still think Zo ends up at ND, not sure about UF's Architecture program, but know he has looked into ND's program w/ detail. Good news on Allen, hope he ends up Irish, much better fit for PT at ND, IMO he would be better utilized under Weis than Meyer. yeah this could be a OSU-ND battle. i would think that OSU could lead but ND has young and wegener, not to mention OSU already has two safety commits that are rated pretty high already.

Demarcus Van Dyke....and I also heard they aren't announcing together, just on the same day.

Just read that he did a interview on Generation Next w/ Lemming, ND is not in Top 5.
