Is there any merit or truth to the rumor of the flu still hitting the team?

Saw that…my apologies I just posted about it in the game thread. Sounds like it’s legit, also some rumors of food poisoning going around the psu locker room.

FWIW, a couple of ND beat reporters have said they have not heard that it will dramatically impact the team (i.e., the frontline players). All the main guys were healthy as of a day or two ago, so hopefully if there has been some sort of outbreak, the team has taken the proper steps to ensure those guys stay healthy.

Notre Dame is really being tested during this playoff run. It’s being reported that it’s mostly backups and special teams players. If this is accurate, hopefully it doesn’t spread any further 🤞

My future 3rd wife Molly McGrath is saying it’s been going around the last couple weeks but shouldn’t be a notable impact today

Yep, ESPN just said no-one playing in the game has the flu. Just red shirts and a few staff.

She's into the furrie thing…

I would be interested to hear if this affected the squad. They definitely looked a few ticks off the energy of the Georgia game. The extra can only help them get back to the required level.
