I remember feeling really good back in the 80’s and 90’s about playing Boston College. Many let downs. I can’t get the last 5 yr feeling about a lack luster Penn State. I really hope the young players don’t feel this way or looking forward. We need them to be on fire Thursday like they are playing Ohio State NOW!

Me too. Feel like we can get to Allar and cause some turnovers while their defensive line and running game scare me,

Agree with this! One thing this team has shown after the NIU mishap is that they are always well prepared. This game will be no different. I personally feel that Notre Dame will do the exposing of Penn State in this game. Call me crazy but I feel that Georgia will end up being the harder game of the 2. Go Irish!

That’s what I’m afraid of.

Agree that Georgia will end up being the tougher opponent. PSU’s offensive line is terrible at pass blocking, so look for Golden to go after the QB at every turn and Watts will handle the TE

I just told my Penn State friend about my confidence and exactly how and why we’ll win…she wasn’t happy…. Definitely ghosted me after my conclusion… 🤣🤣🤣

Nevermind…the image is too pixelated to read… oh well. Long and the short of it is that Penn State shouldn’t be in the final four…they just got two crappy teams. UGA was more difficult and PSU will be more akin to Indiana.

I worry about every single game, but do feel they will be ready to play!

I think it’s going to be a great game!

Go Irish!!!

Agreed! My confidence level for IU was 100%. Georgia was 60-65%. And now for PSU it’s sitting at 70-80%. Go Irish!

I’m eerily calm surprisingly… maybe it’s the gag reflex of not wanting to be hurt again?

not one eggplant emoji…

I’ll stick with the concerned feeling because it’s worked so far in the CFP for me. Just waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Does PSU out ND ND and play stifling defense and running the ball down the D’s throat with their two good RBs?

The confidence of the fam base, the praise in the press, just seems to be off. Rather the team be the underdog.

Then again I’d really like to see ND have this game in the bag by halftime.

I am with you, no over confidence here. I just have been down on Penn State all season and I think tonight they will be out played by a better Notre Dame team. Can I see Penn State win? Sure, but do i think it will happen, not at all. :)

GO IRISH!

Freeman is no doubt channeling his annoyance with Franklin to motivate himself and the team even more than he already would have.

I am not underestimating PSU. I think they pose some real challenges for us. This game will be tougher than Georgia because of injuries, short turnaround time, and the difficulty in getting the team ready emotionally after a huge win a week ago. It is always tough for college kids in this area. Think about the letdown from the A&M game to the NIU game. That emotional swing is real and we will really need to overcome that.

This is going to be a very close and tense game.
