Yeah, I saw this same thing. I’m not happy either, but really hoping they’ll be better for the Orange Bowl! 🙏🏼

Honestly I dont view it as a bad thing. MF has now been working the refs for 2 weeks, instead of starting from scratch. They will also review game film and see what they missed.

Plus ND doesn’t play with Georgia. So there will be no SEC bias. ;)

Well at least they know the rules about 11 man substitutions on punts

this is a great thing…

It sounds like they need to review the rules where they flagged Faison on that catch that would have been a first down in the fourth quarter.

I’m confident it has been discussed…

… at least it’s not the crew that missed the targeting call in the Arizona Stste game…

I agree this could be a good thing for Notre Dame.

The reason for that is when a call went against Notre Dame that shouldn’t have, you could see Freeman telling the ref on the sideline to let them play! I loved that, and maybe it worked because they didn’t call a DPI on that 4th and 5 Heard broke up.

Let’s just hope they can be better with attention to detail and call it right! 🤞🏼

They could have called Heard for interference on that 4th and 5 play. It would have been consistent with some of their other calls. He almost looked like he expected it. They did not seem to be as concerned when Georgia was interfering with our receivers.

No, now we’re going to have to deal with the B1G bias. Or anti-ND bias.

All in all I do tend to agree with the notions that this could be more good than bad. The crew was put under a microscope following the Sugar Bowl so I would hope they are brought up to date with things they had gotten wrong.

Exactly how I feel about it too!
