And if ND beats UGA it will be well they didn’t have their starting QB playing. Just keep winning and shut up the doubters one game at a time.

Good. Let it change. Keep giving our boys something to read.

  • Losing Mills hurts a lot. Georgia would be crazy if they don’t use a run heavy game plan. Their OL is massive. Thank goodness Golden has time to come up with a game plan. I would try to limit Hinisc

Line started ND -1.5 and quickly flipped to GA -1.5. Will be interesting to see where this moves to. Its probably more about injuries and who will play right now.

The narrative has already shifted…went from “ND can’t win a playoff game” to “well IU wasn’t a real playoff team now you have Georgia”

I hope Freeman uses that and the two late scores as well as the NIU loss to motivate them to victory over Georgia.

They always do that, and it’s so aggravating!

ESPN and the usual suspects on IG are saying Mills is done for the year. Tough loss.

huge loss…

Mills being out is a huge loss, but I do feel Hinish can soften the blow a bit. He did fill in really well for Cross, so let’s hope he can do the same and step up with Mills out. 🤞🏼

We don't have big 99 Riley so that is very concerning. I don't think we are big enough up front to handle that uga line for 4 qts…i would like to think so, but not being able to stop the run concerns me now. But hey!!! None of thought we would be here anyway so Go Irish!!!

I do feel you on that, but I believe Hinish and Rubio will step in, take on the challenge, and do really well!

Dammit man. So many key guys going down.

I know! This has definitely been a snake bitten season for the defense. It sucks, but so many players have stepped up big like Moore, Hinish, Young, and Rubio! It really does show that this team has amazing depth!

I am curious why Mills wasn’t wearing any kind of knee brace. Don’t most linemen wear them nowadays? I think, the way his knee bent on that play, if he was wearing one his knee wouldn’t have hyperextended the way it did.

Not on defense.

𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: Notre Dame OL Charles Jagusah will be available for the Sugar Bowl, OL Rocco Spindler and LB Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa are questionable -

Jagusah has been out with a torn pectoral muscle since Fall Camp, but recently returned to practice and has been getting reps at the Left Guard position.

KVA has been out with a knee injury since the Shamrock Series, and will work his way through practice to progress towards playing in the Sugar Bowl.

Spindler suffered a right ankle injury against Indiana last friday, and will be questionable for the game. He is still listed as the starting Right Guard on Notre Dame’s depth chart for the Sugar Bowl.
