I’ve never been to South Bend. I was wanting to take the family to see a game next year, any game actually. Tickets for Navy are 300+ each, is this what I should expect to pay for a low tier game? Seems pretty out of reach for a family.

Not at all. I have been attending ND games since the game of the century. Prior to COVID-19 I went every year for the previous 12 years, sometimes twice a season. I went back again this year for the first time since 2019. Not once did I have tickets until game day until this year when I went with a group of 8 and we bought them on line the day before. We paid $110.00 per ticket for FSU in section 11 / half way up lower level. If I wanted to sit in upper level (still good seats) or end zone (if you do this sit in section 1 or 2 near the students) would have been well under $100 per ticket.

My suggestion is to buy them on game day. If the weather is not great the tickets will be even cheaper. Navy comes every second year so demand is muted. Your biggest expenses will be hotel and ND bookstore.

I was there in November for the Florida State Game…..that being said I highly recommend you attend in October when its a bit warmer usually and the leaves are in peak change. USC game likely a night game October 18th is a good one to target. I would imagine Boise and Arkansas will travel well and do not visit ND regularly (if at all?) prices will actually be higher for those games than USC.

Yeah. the tickets are inflated because they havent been distributed yet. People are still focused on the current season. Give it some time and they will absolutely drop.

I concur, absolutely! Highly likely that you’ll be able to find Navy tix - helpful that it’s in November, potentially colder - for less than $100.

The ticket office even did an alumni Black Friday sale last month for that game for $50 each. They’re anticipating weaker demand.

I know it’s tricky when you’re taking the fam, but just keep your eyes open and be patient. You’ll find some.

Cheers. Thanks all. Traveling from CA so trying to plan in advance but sounds premature yet. Good advice all around.

Honestly tickets should be the least of your worries. There are always plenty with prices generally cheapest on game day.

My company is based out of Chicago, I will probably just head back that way and stay in the city with the family.

As testament to being patient, a big shout out to Domer Domain Mod, TNEUN, who just transferred an extra ticket to me that he came upon for Friday’s playoff.

Tickets are going online for $400, and he gave it to me at face value only to make sure it went to an Irish fan. ND fans looking out for each other!

I was already going to be there, and now I’m actually in. Can’t get over that, though. Amazing gesture!

I know Eddie that you’re traveling with family, but you have time. Tix will come through for you.

Whatever your plans make sure to spend enough time on Campus. The games are great but personally I like to arrive in South Bend around lunch on Friday and spend a few hours on Campus, Bookstore etc. Saturday more of the same, Trumpets (too bad not under the dome any longer) Grotto, Basilica, Bond Hall stepoff, Players walk etc.
