I think Army has possibly played a weaker schedule than Navy.

Yes, it is weaker than Navy because Navy had Memphis on their schedule. Army does not have any comparable team on their schedule; it is VERY weak!!!

I tried to look for strength of schedule but could not find anything. I'm surprised ND is as high as 20.  NDhoosier is correct that Navy edges Army because of Memphis.

Ideally, we show on the field that we are the better team for the remaining games scheduled.

College Football Playoff rankings added with playoff seed in parentheses.

If we win out, we move up.  Tennessee and Georgia play each other.  Indiana and Ohio State play each other.  That's two teams that will lose and should cause someone to drop below us.  Moreover, the Big10 and the SEC have championships that may cause other teams ahead of us to lose.

This first ranking looks about right, and I would agree with it all except Penn State, and Indiana. I think Penn State and Tennessee should be swapped, BYU at #8, Notre Dame at #9, and Indiana at #10.

First, ND just needs to keep winning.  Otherwise, it is all for naught.

Tennessee and Georgia play each other.  Indiana and Ohio State play each.  Ideally, ND will move up above the losers of both of those games.  Moreover, both the SEC and the Big10 have conference championships that may result in losses enabling ND to move up some.

Yeah, the love for the b1g is weird. IU and Penn State have one to 40 win in Iowa. The only thing if this stays the course is it rewards schools who play a terrible schedule and blow them out. Michigan was third last year with one of the worst schedules. IU this year. Helps ND I guess if their schedule gets weaker from conferences not wanting to add ND.

I don't get the love for Penn State.  Sorry Mike.

Me either, I think by the end of it, ND will have a better resume (especially of quality wins) than PSU.
