Appalachia storms

More and more information is slowly coming out from areas that were hit by the hurricane, my God what a disaster.  I don't know if we have any members or their families who were impacted by this horrific storm.  From the sounds of it many there may not be able to connect with the outside world.  I just would like to say a prayer for you all, I know it isn't much, and I feel helpless here in Iowa.  Praying that the Lord will guide you and be with you.  I'm at a loss for words...

I have family that still live in Southern Georgia, and it hit them hard. They also don’t have power. It’s been out 26 Sep, and they might not get it till 4 Oct. Thankfully they have a generator, but we saw some pics and the whole area is destroyed. It really sucks, and me heart goes out to everyone affected. We used to live there too, and still have a lot of friends out that way as well. Hoping they can all recover. 🙏🏼

I'm on the east coast of Florida, we were spared for sure.  My son is out in Tampa, and he got some wind and rain but there were many parts of the panhandle and inland that got a lot of damage.  I agree that we should be praying for these families and agree that the Lord will fill them with peace and hope that He will get them through this!

Glad you and your family stayed safe! And agree with you in that the ones affected can get through it all! 🙏🏼

Thanks for the prayers fellas.  We made it through on the east coast.  Winds were howling about 1 am but other than losing a fence panel and a flooded back yard, all was safe.  No damage to the house and never even lost power.  Now cmon Saturday!

GO IRISH!
