FaithInIrish Forever
This is a bit early. So I will need to post the press conference link next Sunday. @Mike the rankings will change. The Irish look to improve on a lucky top 15 win after the Bye week. The new offense has large gaps in production. How long will the defense be able to keep the Irish afloat? Hope the stats show an improved team after the bye week.

I do not disagree with assessment that the Offense needs improvement. It currently lacks an identity and is wildly inconsistent. The Defense did a good job against a talented QB. I do disagree with the "lucky top 15 win" assessment, though. Luck was not a decider. Both teams had their fair share of unlucky plays (turnovers that were avoidable). Louisville probably came out on top in the luck department, given the injuries the Irish sustained. Frankly, I thought both teams looked like top 13 teams (in contrast with Alabama-Georgia in which both teams had a top 3 look).
JeffV
I feel like we're where we should be. Never an excuse for a N. Illinois-type loss, but we're young, injured, and simply not quite where we need to be as a team yet. We still play down to competition too often. We had a lot of answers against Louisville, but left them in it the whole way. Saw some good things, though, and it's awesome to see the amount of Fr and Sophs making plays. Exciting future! I watched Georgia v Alabama that night and our overall roster talent isn't in the same zip code, IMO. We have some dudes, so I mean that mainly on depth. Both of those teams seem to have 5 stars backing up 5 stars, and we're simply not a complete team, which is why we haven't played a complete game. I think ND is a couple seasons away from a serious run, but I don't mind the path so far. 10 wins and I shouldn't care which 10 - or so I tell myself. Heading to the game next weekend and it better not be close. Stanford looks like it has a lesser roster by far, and without the young stars to step up.

Always trying to prevent injuries. A few of the ACL's were non contact. Only Craigs was contact related
