It's impossible not to notice the changes happening with the site right now, so my apologies if anyone's been inconvenienced by the changes happening. At the very least, it's only fair that I give everyone an update on what's coming.

The upgraded forums are still in Alpha and a work in progress, but the changes here are due to my efforts in mirroring what I can between both versions. This should make the transition as smooth as possible once ready. Please keep in mind that things you see are still subject to change but enjoy a sneak peek of where the site is headed.

I can’t say anything about mobile as I am at work on my laptop. However, on desktop it is in the upper right corner of the page. Just to the left of your profile avatar. The icon looks like a piece of paper with the corner folded.

edit - its also at the very bottom right corner of the page it says Unread Content. Just noticed that one lol

Yup! You should see it in the footer now. Can you let me know if it’s showing for you?

Is there a way to turn off this scrolling recent updates window on the right side of the page? I’d like to see that go away. Or at least give us the option to turn it off or X it out.

I’m not axing it, but I can adjust it. It might make sense to disable the autoscroll in certain areas of the site.

A few updates:

• There are a few bugs with notifications loading. This is being worked on and will be fixed in a future update (@Baldy)

• The notification to load new replies isn’t showing. I reached out to the devs and I’ll follow up when I learn more (@SpeedsterX)

@Mike, I know there are some bugs with the new site, but one other thing I wanted to point out for you is standard Twitter (X) posts won’t automatically embed, but videos seem to be able to.
