FaithInIrish Forever
So we know Leonard's strength is the QB run. The passing game has epically failed. If they won't call the QB run. I feel its like Wimbush or Buchner throwing the ball, So who do you support as QB1 at this moment?
jessemoore97
Angeli is #2, looked serviceable in the bowl game, he should get the nod. Huge IF opportunity arises get a few plays in for the others.
SpeedsterX
Give Angeli, Minchey, and Carr a try in real game action. See who does best. Some players are "good practice players" who don't do well in game conditions. Montana was the opposite of that and they luckily found that out. Just don't burn Carr's redshirt. It might sound crazy but I would possibly sacrifice a game just to do that. JMHO and that's probably why I would never be picked to coach a team. InLikeFlynn
Angeli deserves a shot, if we aren't giving up on the season anyways. I would love to see what Carr or Minchey has but in the 12 team playoff era, the season isnt over yet (As bleak as it currently looks)
AnTostal
For the Purdue game, I support Angeli as QB1. Minchey vs Carr? Hmmm. Carr seems to have all the tools. He seems to be 'the' guy. But Minchey has shown he can move the team and score, at least in spring ball. It's a conundrum, no doubt. With the portal as it is, you want to do what you can to keep your best players. With what I've seen so far, I'd rather keep Carr than Minchey, so I'd go with Carr if Angeli wasn't effective. Whatever happens, though, ND needs to score. A lot. And find a way to rotate some different guys in to show what they can do. Will that happen against Purdue? Well, if it didn't happen at home against NIU, it seems unlikely ND will find a way to make it happen in West Lafayette.
NYGoldenDomer
I almost wish this shoulder injury was worse than reported to be. Take the pressure off Freeman to make the decision to sit Leonard. Take the pressure off Leonard to play. Who to go to? Oh boy oh boy what to do? Most of me says fuck it, put in Carr. He's going to be the man going forward, may as well get him the reps and let him rip. Part of me says Minchey. Reward him for sticking around. But then again, it goes back to Carr. Why give the ball to Minchey if Carr is supposed to be the guy next season? Just let Carr get the reps. I have no desire to see Angeli play. He's only QB2 because he is more senior than Minchey and Carr, not because he is more skilled. Sitting Leonard going forward at least lets him preserve another year of eligibility so he doesn't completely ruin his draft status. It gives him a chance to move on to somewhere else next year and hopefully get himself straightened out.
NYGoldenDomer
Also, @NDLincPark are you trolling us voting for an injured Leonard to still be QB1? lol

I know this program all too well. Stagnant, Predictable, dwell on the past, shy away from the future. They are married to Leonard.
