Anyone see BK’s table slamming presser?  (I couldn’t find the actual link to copy or I would have included here ) He was peeved his team did what they’ve done before - stand on the sidelines thinking they had the game won instead of finishing off an opponent. Sound familiar?  To his credit he did say he had to coach better..

Same old bk, blame the players

Glad he's no longer our problem.

He's not wrong.

2 penalties stunk.

no complimentary football

lack of redzone execution Always ticks him off

They did not finish the game

Freeman said almost all these things in a different way. Adressing the Beaux Collins catch aftermath etc.

Kelly choices to talk to his team in the media. Freeman keeps it in the Lockeroom.

I don't think overall Kelly seemed angry. He is less uptight imo than when he first came to ND, perhaps because he has generational wealth.

I don't get the animosity toward Kelly. Although I don't think he was a good enough recruiter/head coach to take us to the next level, I'm grateful that he brought our program back to at least respectability.

I think its mostly his approach to it. Always after more money, not necessarily ever being warm and fuzzy with the players. He's successful but I don't know how many 3rd string players would come back for a reunion 10 years later.

For instance, if Lou Holtz wants to gather with his players I believe they are coming. If Nick Saban wants to thy are coming, How will Brian Kelly be remembered? Right now, the athletic center named for him at Grand Valley State University.

I can only speak for myself, but the biggest issues I have with Kelly are his character. There are plenty of things he says and does that seems ingenuine, but the way he left both Cincinnati and Notre Dame speaks volumes about the type of guy he is.

He screwed over both organizations at a pivotal point in the season, and didn't appear to do anything to prepare them for the transition.

He lacks integrity and is fake...

This right here!

He’s the definition of being a boss and not a leader. It’s pretty sad, actually.

USC showed marked improvement from last season.  Still LSU should have beat them.

Kelly failed to win those types of games at ND and similarly struggles at LSU.  Still they have a fairly favorable schedule going forward as they do not play either Georgia or Texas and get Alabama at home.

As someone else mentioned, I loved his “Southern” accent he tried out when he got there

I thought both teams were up and down, but there was no excuse for the last touchdown… LSU was expecting the ball to be moved solely for FG purposes and got lazy defending the run.

I thought USC had a couple ballers, but the qb didn’t look great in my opinion.  He’s gonna struggle against our secondary.

Exactly what I was thinking about Moss as well. No way he’ll be able to do that against NDs secondary.
