August 26, 2024Aug 26 Man, there’s been so many. The one that comes to mind first though is the 2015 Stanford game. Tillery’s face mask that gave Stanford an additional 15 yards, and then not covering the Stanford TE which led to a big play that set up the game winning field goal. Notre Dame would have been in the CFP had they won that game! 😑😭 The next one is the 2022 Marshall game, but that one’s pretty self explanatory. 🙄
August 26, 2024Aug 26 The 2011 meatchicken / ND game. Unbelievable how we let Denard (arm punt) Robinson beat us. TURN AROUND GARY GRAY!!!! FUUUUDGE!!! I'm still really bitter about that one. I kicked my brother in law out of my house that night. Fudging wal mart wolverine summina bitches. As well as 93 BC. Dude. WTF. Ope. Forgot about 91 Colorado and the phantom clip. Ugh!!!

August 26, 2024Aug 26 How do you call that clip? Rocket is at minimum 2 yards in front of that dude and ain't nobody not named Usain Bolt gonna catch my guy.

I was at the game… it was made worse by the fact that I was on crutches with a badly sprained ankle and hopped to my feet with the crowd when he broke loose on that return….
August 26, 2024Aug 26 There were a couple of games early in the BK era....I think the one that stung the most at the time for me was the Tulsa game.

August 26, 2024Aug 26 2010 Tulsa... Bobby Brown's excessive celebration penalty in '99 vs Michigan... 2007 Navy loss... Edited August 26, 2024Aug 26 by Rocketsan
August 26, 2024Aug 26 1. Phantom clip against Colorado 2. Pass interference call at FSU that negated the winning score 3. Any of the beatdowns we suffered in Miami: 58-7 or the 41-8 game in '17 4. The Bush push 5. The Northwestern game at home when BK got cute and went for 2 when an extra point would have sealed (froze my ass off at that game, too)
August 26, 2024Aug 26 The Bush Push game…day before my 22nd birthday in college and I remember everything about that and my reaction despite being “a couple” drinks deep all day. USF loss in 2011 that was like getting kicked in the balls with the weather delay. The first loss to Navy in 40+ years. I was 10 but I remember the BC game and my old man’s reaction to that ball going through the uprights.

Either way, we got cute and threw three consecutive incomplete passes holding a small lead allowing that Turd Forcier to march down the field with enough time to shame us once more.

Tate Forcier game hurt me for at least 3 weeks

What made it worse was it was during my work shift! 🤨 However, what pissed me off the most was Weis calling three back to back passing plays on Notre Dame‘s final possession. which were all incomplete, instead of running the ball and forcing Michigan to use their timeouts! 🤬 That right there was the difference maker! Weis really did deserve to be fired for that game alone, so thank goodness they finally pulled the trigger and fired him at the end of the 2009 season! Like for real, all the guys I worked with were scared because I was screaming so loud and about to explode, they were all like, are you okay? Yeah, I’m totally fine! 😑🙄😂
