I usually put in $100 on Fanduel for football season and bet a $5 here and there. I want to have a little extra fun but also not lose my house. It’s a slippery slope of fun vs frustration. Perfect world you increase the fun and cash out in January with $200 instead of $0.
But then there are games like Florida State losing to Georgia Tech. FSU was a pretty big favorite. I thought well don’t mess with the spread just put big money on FSU. Of course they are going to at least win, they are a big favorite. Put all $100 and make a quick $25. I didn’t do it. But there lies the danger and frustration of sports betting.
Anyone else place bets? Any similar thoughts, stories, concerns or strategies?
