Tyler Buchner is awful. 

This is not good for the ND WR room, and is actually embarrassing that they keep letting a zero like him continue crawling back to the team.

How is there not a better WR option already here?  Jesus, they are terrible at the position if a Joke QB/LAX sub can just walk in and play WR.

He's a walk on.

He will be on scout team. He's not taking snaps away from anyone.

He can run scout team offense for Navy and Army this year as an option QB. 

He's widely regarded as a good kid who loves ND.

He played for a national championship in lacrosse after not playing lacrosse for 7 years. He got playing time on the #1 team in the country. What does that say about his athleticism? 

He's a walk on.

No matter what anyone says (looking at you @NDLincPark), I’m all for this and 100% believe this move strengthens the Wide Receiver room. ❤️

 

Looks like he runs under 4.7 and if I'm denbrock I know who's throwing the double pass and running the gadget QB sneak I'm not having mitch evans run the push play if i can have tyler run some. I run him down on kickoff. I let him do what any other walk-on receiver would do. But I would put a lateral pass in the playbook. Not saying I'd call it, but its in there.

I do not understand @NDLincPark 's animosity towards Buchner and basically every breath that Ty takes. It seems extremely personal towards someone I assume that he never met in person which is really weird. Ty was better than most in high school and is a good enough athlete that he has played for top 5 teams in two different Div I sports. Just doing that is a very high bar for most. If Ty was as despicable as @NDLincPark would lead you to believe, then people who knew Ty well (Freeman and his former Irish football teammates) would not have welcomed him back on the team as a walk-on WR.
