Z post has been in the playbook forever. Nabers got man to man and cooked the safety on a post route

Denbrock uses some short running back and tight end motion I really like. Daniels earned that Heisman Playbook hasn't changed to much so far.

Denbrock's objective seemed to be empty out the back field and let Daniels be as much of playmaker both passing and running(mostly scrambles-designed passes that turn into big runs) as possible

Of course, this all only matters as it applies to current Irish QB's like RILEY LEONARD.

QB had lots of room to operate at Duke too.

Man, that was a great game. I’ll bet it was awesome being there too! The big run by Kizer, the game leading/winning TD by Fuller, and then the game sealing INT by Russell were epic!

near perfection of a game that Denbrock was the Associate head coach offense for(Brian Driskell gives him credit for calling this game)

Now from what I'm seeing the Denbrock offense wasn't as pro-style and complicated as Rees/Parker have been. Its more about making the scheme fit the players and SPREAD them all over the field to give them room to make plays. Its an offense where you have to hit on recruiting because his philosophy is the players make the offense NOT the offense makes the players. With Freeman and Bowden being so dedicated to recruiting, I think this is a good fit, Because this scheme got the likes of Josh Adams, Durham Smythe(wanna say I saw him have catches for the Dolphins last Sunday, Alize Jones(Mack) on the field pretty early

As you know I like to do the primary research myself.

But as you see

  • Denbrock's offense is mostly spread out of the shot gun
  • His Aim is to get deep shots too his receivers
  • More often then not its pass to set up the run(we'll see if Freeman accepts that) but its not set in stone that way especially if your starpower is at running back
  • He will have a go-to guy or guys(Fuller, Eifert etc)

Here's another completed project on Denbrock done before he called a play at LSU,

And one of the rubs I have with him is that pass in a hurricane NC State game.  I like a balanced offense with a punishing run game, and I feel Freeman does too.  I'm firmly in the camp of styling the scheme to meet your strengths and limit your weaknesses, while also letting the players play.

I think that Denbrock is too. So I think we'll be at least happy. If CJ Carr is a star I think we could be very happy.
