Developmental player?  To early to know?

  • Author

He’s developing now and has 1.5 years to go so not sure. Has good size and tools you should like. If he continues to improve and grow then it’s a win. On the surface it seemed a little early to me but they were on him early and stuck with it so the staff clearly likes him. Now they need to add 2 high end players.

After yesterday, I’m not sure Coach can tell the difference between 3 and 5.  Numbers seem baffling to him.

That is early for an All-Star game, dang…

Tom Lemming talked about this during a podcast. The early signing period and early enrollment killed allstar games, since networks were more interested in commitments during the game than the game. o allstar games have had to adapt, and we’ll probably see more of that going forward.

Anyone know our players did at the Army Bowl ?

Burgess and Black played great.

Flanigan blocked well, but they never tried to throw his way… This game was all about the flashy WRs.

Sacco played well when playing downhill, but got beat for a long touchdown pass. Honestly, it seemed odd that a MLB was covering a speedy WR (I think it was either a coverage bust or poor coverage from a coaching perspective)

Grubbs showed some impressive ability, but his line sucked and the WRs kept dropping balls. His statline is not going to wow you, but watching him play gives you a lot of optimism.
