Not sure if it's legal but if I were Bowden and Freeman I would bring him in for his insights on ND recruiting, Lemming would have great input on improving ND recruiting. Tom Lemming knows the power of the Notre Dame Brand. He's old enough to remember Ara and even before. HE STARTED the star system. While not popular among the generation that consumes recruiting the most(Big exluded as he respects Tom) now(he publishes magazines in an internet world) his OG status is very real.
