I just listened to the live chat with NDs AD Jack S. Below is a link that should take you to it if interested. Some highlights I noted from what he said.

- he has never felt better about NDs independence status

- for December games ND is looking at getting a heated playing surface for when CF playoffs is extended ( those are my words)

-he spoke some about NIL and thanked Brady Quinn for his help. 40% of ND athletes receive NIL. The NDFund raises the money and pays it to athletes who assist charities. Also NDs NIL is very big in helping athletes establish an ongoing business. ND has 4 full time employees working NIL.

-he said 3 first-tier candidates have been identified for the OL opening.  

-ND is creating new position. Sorry forgot the name he used. He said it would be like a GM role for roster purposes. I assume that by roster he means coaching hires.

"I feel really good. Three sort of first-tier candidates have been identified. We'll see how that process goes. But really encouraged by the quality of those candidates. That's a process that I think will move fairly quickly."
