Wednesday
6:30 - Louisiana @ Marshall - ESPN2 - Football on Wednesday

Thursday
6:00 - Baylor @ West Virginia - FS1 - I always thought Baylor was overrated, this is about an even matchup

Friday
6:30 - Navy @ SMU - ESPN - meh, if you are bored Friday evening.

Morning Games
11:00 - #10 Penn State @ #5 Michigan - FOX - Would love to see Michigan lose here, but neither of these teams are very tested up to this point.
11:00 - Auburn @ #9 Ole Miss - ESPN - Ole Miss is the better team here, but for some reason, I smell an upset
11:00 - #19 Kansas @ Oklahoma - ESPN2 - Is Kansas actually this good? Does Oklahoma continue its very steep decline?
11:00 - Iowa State @ #22 Texas - ABC - I think Texas cruises here, but I was wrong about Ewers, the guy is a stud. Will Manning want to sit behind him for two years?

Afternoon Games
2:30 - #3 Alabama @ #6 Tennessee - CBS - Probably the BIG game of the day, Tenn has a good shot at winning this one.
2:30 - #8 Oklahoma State @ #13 TCU - ABC - Should be a very solid game, I think OK St eventually wins though.
2:30 - #15 NC State @ #18 Syracuse - ACCN - Future opponent in Syracuse playing a quality team. Scouting moment!
2:30 - Arkansas @ BYU - ESPN - Would like to see BYU bounce back and make our win against them look good.

Evening Games
6:00 - LSU @ Florida - ESPN - How does LSU respond after that ABSOLUTE BEATDOWN?
6:30 - Stanford @ Notre Dame - NBC - Go Irish!
6:30 - #4 Clemson @ Florida State - ABC - Clemson has failed to impress me so far this year, but watch them blow FSU off the field.
6:30 - #16 Miss State @ #22 Kentucky - SECN - This game doesn't really mean much in the grand scheme of things, but should be a fun game at the end.
7:00 - #7 USC @ #20 Utah - FOX - Rival on the road against a quality opponent, how will they look?

Pretty decent slate of games this week. Which ones are you excited for?

Bama by 17? Is Young supposed to be back? I honestly think Tennessee are favorites right now. Very interesting take indeed

‘Bama favored by 7. Tennessee is one of those teams that seems to get a lot of love most years until they collapse. They may prove me wrong, but I just think ‘Bama is a much better team with better coaching.

Young is practicing.

Regardless, I think it will close.

Will be interesting to see if Saban's D can stop Heupel's O.

If Young sits, Bama has a 4star and 5star behind Young.

True, you do have a point there... Tennessee has been the hot team before collapsing and barely finishing with 6-7 wins. They do seem to have a lot of offensive firepower this year. Hooker is a pretty QB.

Kind of weird, really.

Behind ND's starting QB this year were also two 4 star QB's.  Behind next year's starting QB for ND will be a 4 star and a 5 star QB.  Things that make me go 'Hmmmm'.

I think the difference is our 4 stars are usually 5’11, somewhat weak arms that have some mobility but not great. Or they are simply a package qb-running qb if you will.

A good bunch of games this week!

Not sure about that NC State game with their QB out (hurt). Have to go with Penn State only because I have a “strong dislike “ lol for Michigan football.

Absolutely.

All 4 stars are not created equal.  Nor are all quarterbacks coached equally well.  At the beginning of this year I thought ND had it's best quarterback group in quite a while.  But you don't really know until you get into the games, you don't really know until you have to rely on the backups, and we as fans have no idea how well they are being coached compared to how well other teams' QB's are being coached.

Had a jar thrown at us when we went to a Michigan game many years ago.  Michigan and Ohio State are at the top of my list for teams I dislike.  I don't like USC either, but I do respect the team and the school.

Bama's roster is more stable, and more talented. Easier to plug into (reload) a QB in Bama, compared to ND. Pyne has been in the scheme for years, so easier to an extent. But ND's roster is less talented (OL, WRs, RBs, etc.. ). And they have Saban...

I hate Michigan, but I have to admit I love how their fans showed up and the stadium is ablaze in maize.

Penn State has no offense either.

Texas is not looking that good against Iowa State

Kansas and Oklahoma looks to be a shootout, but Kansas doesn't look like it can stop Oklahoma's offense even a little bit.

Sean Clifford leaves so much to be desired. I think he has Ian Book Syndrome, good enough to beat the teams they should, but not good enough to beat the top teams.

It would be hard to argue against anything you said. Clifford looks spectacular until he plays a good team and the offense completely sputters.

Quite literally the only time in my life I will root for a Michigan win. My two favorite teams: ND and whoever is playing penn st

I may have jinxed Ewers today, he is not playing very well.

He’s not good. Allar should be playing.

Vols up 21-7 over Tide.

Thought it would close, but didn't see this start.
