  • As of now, ND has the #1 class for 2025.  That will change when the big fish commit, but in the last 2 weeks they've landed 4 commits: one 5* and three 4*s.

Good - we needed that. Need to keep the talent coming in.

I’ll take a top #100 prospect at ND anytime ?

Brey is finally putting together a backcourt that rivals the 2015 backcourt. Next year - Ryan, hubb, Wertz, Goodwin, Wesley, and carmody. This group is very versatile, athletic and and can shoot. Finally getting back to the recipe that got them to compete with and beat the big boys.

Sounds like an amazing pick up!

Would anyone else like to see Porter Moser replace Brey when Brey is done in South Bend. He is from Illinois, recognizes talent and gets the best out of it. Has been to a final 4 and is giving 1 seed Illinois all they can handle today. Also his teams really compete on defense.

I was thinking the same thing.

On top of that I was thinking how pathetic it is that we cannot make the tournament. A lot of these teams are in there with inferior talent, but better coaching and teamwork.

What was pathetic was how Wisconsin easily took out a North Carolina team that crushed ND by 50!

Yeah that too. I picked UNC going into the sweet sixteen based on how badly they thumped us. I guess I should have thought that through with some logic.

I would argue that he has a better job at Loyola. Loyola's number one sport priority is basketball. They have at least as good of basketball facilities as ND and he makes about the same salary.

ND is going to have a really hard time bringing in a good proven basketball coach.

Starling is from powerhouse high school basketball program La Lumiere. He is the 27th overall recruit from ESPN, 33rd overall recruit for 247, and 40th overall for Rivals.

Other offers: Alabama, Duke, Maryland, Miami, St. Johns, Stanford, Syracuse

Brey's on a roll.  Let's hope this year's team can finally put it all together!

Welcome JJ! That is cool.

Looks like we will have 2 REALLY good scorers next year in Starling and Blake Wesley.

Brey needs now to recruit ( or get a transfer) a REALLY GOOD front court guy. Someone that is going to be starter from day one. After this year the front court cupboard is bare. We’ll mostly likely will lose Nate and Paul from this year’s team.

Big Get, 4 star top 70 Power Forward.

This caps a huge turnaround for us.  Two really good classes in a row after some misses.
