Guest Bryan
Sorry I was a little late, fellas. I overslept, but from what I've read, our first half performance isn't worth writing home about.
Irish_WIN
Weis needs to keep us in the no huddle. We are starting to look good now and Carlson is having a good game.
Guest Bryan
Agreed, Irish. It's caught the UCLA defense off guard so far. Also, is it just me, or has Brady Quinn developed into the Irish's best running back?
Guest SirJohn
Nice to see them talk about Sam Young tho. but the rest of the O line?
Guest SirJohn
Sam wasn't taking crap off of anyone
Irish_WIN
SJ, I agree it is nice to see Young not backing down. Your right Bryan, Quinn is our best short yardage RB today.
Irish_WIN
5 WR set, but we have 2 TE in so do we not have 5 valid WR?
GoIrish24
The O-line really needs to give Darius some help when he gets the ball.
Guest SirJohn
Yep they are like pressing and not knogking a hole or creating a seam.
Guest Bryan
Ok, we're getting our asses kicked by a quarterback--their backup quarterback, for god's sake--who's on the verge of being an invalid, the running game has been crap, and our defense can't tackle worth a damn. I'm far from being a COMPLETE pessimist, but our first half performance was really lame. Or maybe it's just that I haven't had my coffee yet. IrishGuy
It's not the coffee Bryan, I have had mine and they still suck today.

Guest Irish4life
this is depressing. brady quinn just, eh seems different. that pass to mcknight earlier, last year he made that pass! but this season, he over-throws it. Also i want to see more of the Shark. The O-line needs to do a better job, walker cant go anywhere and he needs some big help...need to get that running game going. Im fine with the defense. Cmon Irish gotta get it going in the second half.
IrishNY1985
SJ, I agree it is nice to see Young not backing down. Your right Bryan, Quinn is our best short yardage RB today. and why is that? oh, its because our O-line couldn't block high schoolers right now and for some reason Charlie continues to neglect a talented freshman named James Aldridge and leaves him on the sideline. Walker is a great receiver and draw/screen receiver and Charlie continues to keep trying to pound him between the tackles. Granted, he has almost no help from the O-line by my lord. Can we please get our heads out of our asses fellas?
PursuitAce
Oregon got 276 yards rushing last week on these guys. I would like to see Aldridge in there to pound them a little bit for effect.
Guest Irish4life
DW > JA > MP
Irish_WIN
NY and Ace, I think we need Aldridge to pound them, but the problem is our O-Line is not openning up the lanes anyone except Quinn. Our D came out fired up, now our O needs to do the same.
PursuitAce
Overall sure...different style for JA might shake things up...other than that let's hope Charlie has been setting them up for the rest of the playbook in the second half. PursuitAce
I guess I shouldn't have said anything about the ND offense, because I just can not figure out what Charlie is doing. I wish I could have seen a lot more of last years games. Someone isn't thinking right so I will assume it's me.
