Not a surprise that CFP teams sending more than anyone else to the combine. Hopefully the #FreemanEffect will get and keep ND as a top team in terms of talent on a consistent basis.

Glad to see Kevin Austin on the list of invites.

Yup. Great players make Brilliant Coaches. Great players can also make average coaches look Brilliant.

Happy for Coan. Without transferring to ND I think he would be busy looking for an accounting internship right about now. Hope he turns out to be the next Tom Brady (minus my hatred for him of course).

I was surprised Clemson was so low with 4 considering how they've been recruiting the past few years.  Ohio State (7) also seems relatively low compared to most other years.

Five seems about right for ND - somewhat surprised Hinish wasn't at least invited, but not shocked. Glad Austin got invited because he will need to kill it to get drafted.

Last year ND had 11 invited, which was tied with Alabama and Georgia for the second most, only behind Ohio State (14). The difference is those schools are right back near the top. year after year.

This is a down year for ND when it comes to sheer numbers, but ND also had multiple guys come back that would have easily been invited: Foskey, Ademilola, Patterson, and Hart
