There's nothing about this UC team that says they would have the ole deer in the headlights mentality, and a minor victory they're achieving is making Bama actually WORK for their points, when they want to strike fast w/Williams.  BUT, they have got to maximize Ridder's athleticism and get the pocket moving....him staying static back there is not working out...and, they HAVE to show Bama they will at least attempt to take the top of the Bama D!

I’m curious how much better the Irish would be looking if they got in this game instead of Cincinnati. 

And.....THAT, hurts.  They actually had Bama off their game for a lot of that half, but just like we were guilty of, no urgency in adjusting on offense.

I'll be honest I think worse. We hung in on defense last year because of Owusu

This game is over, Cincy cant move the ball at all. We would demolish Cincy if we played now.

Hopefully Cincinnati comes out of halftime with more urgency and scores on the first drive.  Maybe a nice kickoff return.

I don't our 2021 defense matches up as well talent wise with Bama . ND minus Owusu and Hamilton
