That is big news as I think he was very much on the fence. He needs to come back. As great as he is and as much raw talent he has, his film this year was a very mixed bag. I think he could be a special player next year if he keeps developing.

MTA has accepted an invitation to the East-West Shrine Bowl. He will going to the NFL Draft. He did have another year of eligibility due to the Covid year everyone got.

This is going to hurt. I thought he would come back as he is far from a finished product. All the best to him!

I get why he left. The man has had two life’s since getting to ND. He’s probably just ready to move on. Say that, he dropped a lot balls this year and his route running wasn’t that great. He relied on his skill more than anything. But I wish him the best of luck. 

This is a flat out awful decision. He’s not getting drafted.

So I really hope Freeman gets 2 transfers, this could be horrible to watch next year!

I can agree with this. Maybe he also think his production won’t be any better next year with the QBs we have available. Basically, this was the best he was going to look if he stayed with ND.

Yeah this might be an indictment of what the current receiving group thinks of the qbs on the roster. Big mentioned Davis and Lenzy leaning towards moving on as well and there were rumours of Styles/Colzie transferring. What a nightmare.
