December 9, 20213 yr It could be only 2 based on that mock if Kyren, Foskey, Hart, and Patterson all come back. Edited December 9, 20213 yr by tneun89

I'd love it if he did. I just don't think returning helps his stock much at all, and the injury risk is far to great if he's getting a second round grade. The rest I could see benefiting from a return.

He's likely not going to get drafted for his tackling, so agree in that aspect. His coverage is good though, so depending on team needs and scheme, I could see him being a STs ace and 2 deep guy early in his career. If he can learn to tackle, perhaps a legit starter. He's got great size, which a lot of teams covet, and will take a chance on and be patient.
December 10, 20213 yr I think at least Hart and Foskey return. Foskey has huge potential to jump into the 1st/2nd round discussion next year with another string year I think

WTF?

The shelf life of NFL RBs is short, need to cash in while you can. Foskey & Patterson feel 50/50. Hart should absolutely stay another year.

December 10, 20213 yr While the grades are somewhat surprising (not a single member of the ND beat has mentioned Hart leaving-- good for him if he does and gets drafted in the 3rd!), the most important analysis is Kevin Austin not being on the board. As discussed elsewhere, I think Foskey, Ademiola Twins, Hart all come back. Patterson and KA are toss ups, but I think both return. If Kyren or Kyle try to return, we all stage an intervention and drive them to draft night because they both need to go for their own interests.
December 10, 20213 yr No Hinish on that board? I know he's a bit undersized, but he had a very good year/ career and dominated the game at times. I can't imagine no one picking him up maybe in one of the later rounds.

He’s sat out 3 games he could have played in. He only does that so he doesn’t risk serious injury ahead of draft day. Kyren I see a little different as he didn’t put the numbers up he could have because of a subpar Oline. He might believe his draft stock goes up by coming back next year and playing behind a veteran Oline. On the other hand RBs don’t last long in the league so he could take the money and run. He had decision on his hands and I wouldn’t blame him for going either way. Edited December 10, 20213 yr by ndfanatic78
December 10, 20213 yr I would have guessed Kyren would have declared for the Draft too, but apparently he is strongly considering coming back to play for MF. It sounds like it's 50/50. If I had to place a bet, I would bet he leaves. But it's not a foregone conclusion.
December 10, 20213 yr Thought Kyren was trending back to ND for next season, but this is the right decision. Pretty surprised he is skipping the bowl game, though. No surprise on KH. Hopefully he lands in the Top 5. But should be ND's first defensive player selected in the Top 10 since Bryant Young (1994).
December 10, 20213 yr Anyone seeing anything on Jack Coan? A grade or anything? He was another one that really improved with the improved offensive line.
