Posted December 9, 20213 yr Surprised there was no general USC thread (if I missed it, please merge). Drake London going pro. Most expected, but some thought he might hang around for the new coach. He's top 10 in some big boards, so no one is shocked. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/32825913/usc-trojans-star-receiver-drake-london-forego-senior-year-enter-2022-nfl-draft

December 9, 20213 yr Ya, I am glad we do not have to face him for another year. The guy was a beast and I think he translates well to the NFL. As awful as USC QBs have been in the league, their WRs have done very well.
December 9, 20213 yr Interested to see what Slovis does. It’s a weak QB draft, but he didn’t help his stock at all this year. I could see him coming back next year.

I haven't started deep diving the big boards yet, but have seen a few. PFF has him the 3rd WR and early 20s overall. Some have him top 10ish. So glad we don't see him next year lol.

It's going to be interesting what happens to USC's QB room. Slovis, Dart, and Moss all are quality kids, and I think each would benefit from a year with LR. Crowded room though.

I would not waste a 1st round pick on a USC qb even if I knew it was Peyton Manning. They just peak with all that wr talent around them. Nothing screams Slovis as a first rounder to me.

Mark Sanchez being a bust should have nothing to do with Slovis’ prospects.

I can’t remember them ever having a successful NFL QB until Burrow. Should Burrow have been dinged bc Russell was a bust? Hell, their 2 QBs to win Titles before Burrow were Matt Mauck, who became a dentist and Matt Flynn, who had one good half of football before getting passes by Russell Wilson.

I get it, can’t judge a qb based on 10 previous ones that were busts. But they churn out crap after crap. Also, I’m making my decision on Slovis. He’s shown me absolutely nothing since he’s been there. Just like previous qb’s. I’d pass…

I’m saying whatever it is they are doing at USC and developing qb’s isn’t working. They get very high recruits that rarely pan out. Even though they have tons of talent surrounding them. They haven’t deviated from that pro-style offense in years. So, whoever it is, whatever coaching staff-Labe Kiffin the qb offensive guru hasn’t worked. Again pass on Slovis.
